It’s a similar situation as QF32 found itself in, not quite as bad though, oh and the kicker was she scored high enough for a man but not high enough for a woman, who determines and sets that kind of standard, I thought there was one kind of standard and or set of requirements you have to meet and you either make the grade or you don’t it’s that simple. Heard something the other day “the aircraft doesn’t know whether your male or female it’s up to your confidence and ability”

This accident has just been featured in The Flight Channel which included the original audio. I've heard many pilot audios however I have never heard anyone so calm when under pressure. When she spoke to the tower she sounded like a mother quietly reading to her children as they drifted off to sleep! So impressive.

The kind of leading example one only dreams of - i think her parents had a great forming role from day one, being a ranchGirl makes for a different (all round ‘do it yourself’) grooming, and having Faith anchoring her all leads in a formidable direction of commitment and passionate dedication - leadership in her every vein. Perhaps the clearest indicator of control and calm is her voice in cmd, but, acknowleging ‘Teamwork’ shows her ingrained steel in the system functioning as it should, especially when it réálly réálly matters...Superbly done. I just finished reading her book. What an incredibly amazing story. What an incredible life she’s led! She has an innate sense of calmness under pressure! A very humble lady! Landing this horribly damaged plane, is a testament to her ability. It also says a lot about all of those men who tried to derail her! God bless you, Tammy Jo!

damn! I do not know WHAT kind of psych meds she is on, but she should be a spokeperson for whatever the Hill it is. BTW, Thank you for thanking others for your success, because ALL of your family must have given you their all, or no, you would not be the person you are today. MY mom was a paedophile BTW, who kept divorcing my Dad every 7 years FORCING the sale of the family home, and her getting half the proceeds, until her youngest child turned 18......(I've written 8 pages as part of my therapy)
