Not many know or remember that they lived in a beautiful antebellum home in Lakeland, Fl and created the Old Plantation Music Park on their property and hosted name artists of the day. Vintage video...thank you!

@@ayronsmama05 Too true! Anyone who thinks being w an alcoholic who abuses u & tries to make u think that's "love" needs therapy! Why anyone would think this is "love" is beyond me! No one stopped her last husband from eliminating her! Her kids, her family, her friends, & NOT George Jones either! Watch Showtime's 6 PT mini series George & Tammy. Each of her husband's were worse than the prior ones--till she married the devil incarnate who did her in! RIP beautiful lady!

donald--how do they RIP in heaven together: No they are not--they are rotting in the grave awaiting either the first or second resurrection--1st for the saved who made Jesus Christ first, the second for the wicked unsaved who are lost--they they get hellfire until they are ashes. Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Spiritualism says the dead are not dead, which is Satan's first lie to Eve, the mother of all the living and dead: Gen 3:4 And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die: But she did die along with Adam who have both mouldered to the dust they were made from. However, One arose who stood between the living and the dead--Jesus Christ the Son of man, and the Son of God: 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the *dead in Christ shall rise first: * 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This is their only hope--were they saved in Christ or not? Let's hope so.

There is absolutely no doubt that George and Tammy loved and cherished each other to bits. Please read "The Three of Us" is Georgette's account of growing up within the family. This book speaks volumes about how much Tammy and George loved each other and their children. Please let's not forget the beautiful Nancy, the love of George Jones' life. @@heathervarcoe6894 You're adding things to what the Bible does not say. Prove to me from the Bible everything you are saying--I can prove you wrong. Nowhere does the Bible say.*"The spirits of those who die in Christ go directly to be with Him."* Where is that found? Show me. *"when body and spirit will be reunited.*" Where does the Bible say that? Show me. You have been listening to false preachers who cannot prove from the Bible what you are saying--you are only repeating their words--no proof whatsoever. 'Spirit" is simply pneuma, the breath--not a living thing. body + breath equals a living soul. G4151 πνεῦμα pneuma pnyoo'-mah From G4154; a current of air, that is, breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively a spirit, that is, (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, daemon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy spirit: - ghost, life, spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Compare G5590. Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. The breath of life is the same thing as the human spirit in the NT--just as there is no soul apart from the body--man is a living soul. Man is also a living spirit--same thing. No such thing as a separation of body and spirit where the body dies and the "spirit" is alive and goes to heaven. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZeZaouKeNd-fZY 4. Absent from the Body & Present with the Lord - Pastor Stephen Bohr - State of the Dead Pr. Bohr proves what I'm saying. We simply cannot read things into the Bible that are not there.

So sad. Pharma addictions and alcohol have destroyed many promising marriages. Like, Georgette said, “His nippin” and her “Naggin” drove a great wedge between them. George had some very good last years, but Tammy did tell George, “ you’re too late”, when he wanted to restore their love, which was true. She was emotionally and physically done. Richey added to her life spelled the end. Women and men love differently. Always has been that way and always will be. I had a George and Tammy marriage. It, too, ended tragically, yet love remained. We have their music to carry with us, thankfully. These musical talents live on.

Dearly beloved We are gathered together in the presence of god and these witnesses To join this man and this woman in the bonds of holy matrimony Do you, Tammy, take this man, George, to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and to cherish until death do you part? I'll take this man and by him I'll stand I promise that we'll never part To him, I'll be true, there'll be no one new From now, till death do us part And do you, George, take this woman, Tammy To be your lawfully wedded wife To love and to cherish, until death do you part? Yes, I'll take this woman, she'll be mine forever And I'll love her, with all of my heart To have and to hold, my love won't grow cold I promise, till death do us part We'll take each other From this day forward Together in sickness or health United with love We'll face life together If we're poor or if we have wealth For better or worst You'll always come first And no one can keep us apart Yes, we take each other Forsaking all others Together, till death do us part I now pronounce you man and wife

I love George how he grabbed and kissed Tammy ,there was obviously something going on before they performed this song...oh how I wish he had quit his drinking ...she would have stayed and we'd all be happy❤️
