Tammy, I opened your channel today for the first time and it was about your toilet bling which was fabulous and very creative even with your mishap. It's beautiful the way it turned out and I thought I need to send it to my daughter because she loves doing things like that because I thought I'm too old then I ran into Vera Huls comment and she's 83 and stared painting 5 years ago! There actually are acrylic toilet seats out there so I wonder if there are molds for making your own? Or you could make your own mold, I guess. That might be really interesting to see. I have "nip dipped" so many times & didn't have a clue how to fix it, so thank you for sharing! I don't have to just scrape it off anymore! I love your creative process so much! Now if I can just convince my husband that ours would look so much better if I did this! Lol I absolutely love your channel. I can hardly wait to get back to painting. I slipped in some slush 3 weeks ago & fractured my knee so haven't been able to paint at all. Been binge watching everyone though, so it's on as soon as I can...lol!

I loved when Mely D did it, but you just took it to a whole new level. I love it! When you said you were going to add sparkle and stones I thought it would look tacky, but it doesn't at all!! My husband would kill me plus we have the flusher buttons on the top so I couldn't do it anyway. But I sure would love too!!!

As kids we get our excitement overload in candy stores. As younger women that same excitement often comes from big make up sections in stores. My mother did something like this years ago (like in the 60's) but she only did the toilet seat. But she also did the tiles for the kitchen floor. I don't remember which she did first. She used a kit of some kind. I wish I had pictures. Our house burnt in '69 or '70 so they were all destroyed in the renovation. But I remember how much I liked it.

With 7 yrs of art college under my belt. I will say I loved the natural way the paint formed and even the boob dip. For me I would have just accented a bit with the gold and glitter but lift the natural way the paint was. It reminded me is the sand and the ocean.
