Tammy B. Jones You use Valspar Silver? I too am not pleased with the golds I've found. I use to get a Gold spray paint called 14 karat from Michaels, but I live so rural now - not sure if they still carry this but KNOW YOU WOULD LIKE THE OUTCOME!!! Be sure to get a couple, the cans were smaller, but did a better job and about same amount. Excellent Creative Work🏆

I love that you repurposed your painting to do this! I did something similar but I covered the rolls (before I cut them) with colorful tissue paper using glue or glue sticks! YES to upcycling!!!

OMG!! This is amazing. Can you imagine this on one complete wall? Toilet paper rolls, who would even imagine that??!! Very clever project. I love how the "flowers" created circles as they were being glued together. That was a lot of work but it's so pretty.

When spraying a darker color gold--spray it white first. The gold will be brighter.

I like the finished project but I wish you had not covered the original painting - What you did in this video I have seen similar projects in other videos but your painting was 100% you, very creative, very painterly and very well done - Please do some more painting because you really have a talent

Thank you. Sometimes when you see other videos compare the dates. My style is different and I've seen others copy it. The painting didn't match my home any longer. I paint when i am feeling inspired it has to be a need or an urge or I draw a blank.

Thank you Jo, You don't have to make one quite so big. This was my largest one yet. I have made them in the past. And I have made them in silver gold and whites. Some only took 24 rolls for the smallest. For this one. I think I used 9 paper towel rolls and 30 rolls of tissue. you can cut them thinner or thicker just make sure they are all the same size. thank you and good luck.

There was a suggestion of using a plastic bin and shower curtain hangers, to put kids bath toys in after the bath. A question came up if there isn't a towel rod to hang it on. I was thinking how about using a plastic wreath hanger over the shower curtain rod. I got plastic wreath holders at x-mass at the dollar store.
