The way Stafford been playing in LA makes his time with the Lions look like one of the BIGGEST disappointments ever…just couldn’t build around him because man…he has looked AMAZING. I think this game will be more of a Defensive slugfest rather than offensive shoot out. In the end the kickers form both teams will decide this game. My pick is the Bucs, their D# need a little bit of work againts the pass, but the front 7 will help them win them this game.

I see Ramsey on Godwin or evans (Dwill gets the latter) and Rapp on Gronk. Gronk seems to be a blocking TE until the redzone, which is where he creates mismatches in a shrunken down area. I know that Gronk still gets catches outside the redzone, but I believe he is the biggest threat in terms of making quick catches and securing the ball. The Rams need to keep Brady outside of the redzone as much as possible. As for the Rams O, they need to establish the run game which is extremely hard against this Buc's defense. But doing so demoralizes the defense and allows for easy PA passes that help gain yards and score TDs.

Yes the Bucs defense has given up a lot of pass yards, but it's not like they're giving up a ton of yards per pass. The Bucs defense is really good against the run, so teams just throw the ball a lot on them. The Bucs defense can also get a good amount of pressure pretty consistently from different looks.

This is going to be a different Tampa Bay offense than the Rams saw last time when the Bucs were still struggling to mesh in 2020 without presnap motion and screen passes. I pick the Bucs to win. Brady looks comfortable now with this offense. It might turn into a shoot out and Brady does well in that situation.

@@kazokadas With the screen passes the pass rush will get burned. You're making the same noise the commentators made when they dissed Tampa Bay going into the 2020 playoffs. TB puts up 30+ without AB. He put up 24 against the Rams in 2020 even with BA leaning on him to throw the long ball too much (which ended in an interception on a potential winning drive). All of that has been corrected.

The Bucs defense is really good at forcing turnovers, but if they can't fix some of their secondary issues I could very well see Stafford taking advantage and making big plays. At the same rate they could get a little greedy and the Bucs are good at causing people to make mistakes. It's really all about matchups. I see the Bucs having to do chip damage for the most part against the Rams defense. We'll see what happens though. This is probably the hardest game of the year for both teams in the regular season. It could go either way.

Stafford is still learning his offense, even verses the Colts he struggled a few times. I believe Tampa D especially the front 7 can capitalize on that with multiple looks.

Both teams are different than last year, so should be for an exciting game. I just wouldn't look at last year to be an argument as to why they will win this year. Example is Chiefs and Ravens. ✌

What the Rams' HBs did last week doesn't matter in this matchup. The Bucs' rush D is easily one of the best in the NFL. The Rams' O must take to the air in order to move the ball on a consistent basis. Why waste a down on the ground when you can take advantage of the Bucs' relative lack of depth in the secondary?

This is such a hard game to decide the winner. I think it mostly will come down to Stafford and the receivers to outplay that suspect secondary, if they do that the crowd gets into the action and rams squeak out a tight win. 34-30 rams seems most likely to me
