Tampa Bay Offshore Fishing | Slow pitch jigging for red grouper | snapper | wahoo

The weather forecast was less than 1ft so we decided to head out 70 miles offshore for some red grouper and whatever else bites. The day was awesome with a bucket list catch of a wahoo. Follow along to see the excitement and challenges through our day.

Nice catch! How heavy are the hog balls? Or jigs you using to catch the beeliners and mangos? Is it a circle hook jig? Thanks and keep the vids coming!

I was using 1/2 oz hog balls. The other guys were using 1oz. All were circle hooks. Current wasn't strong so it allowed us to use light table which was key getting bites. I went all the way down to 15lb flouro leader.

60-80g micro jigs was best size for the beeliners and mangos.
