Last week we linked up with Tampa Tony for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about how the city Tampa has changed over the years, jumping off the porch, creating a blunt splitter called ‘Da Splitta’, getting sentenced to life in prison without parole in 2008 for drug charges, shares story about his first day in prison, explains how he ended up getting released after being granted clemency by President Obama before he left office, having a hit single “Keep Jukin” before he went to prison, focusing on music right after getting released from prison, the music scene in Tampa, new single “Blow It On Her” w/ Mike Smiff, and much more!

Met dude in the citrus county jail he would pass out the morning trays to the Federal inmates I would run the trays to the Federal housing unit and we would talk I ask him if he was Tampa Tony after reading he had got life in the news paper he was stand offshore at first but after I said I read about him in the paper he was cool down to earth guy I felt bad about his life sentence

I got 4 years it was right when they made the guidelines advisory, I went to a USP because of my points and shit was wild being in there with only 4 years and everyone else had 15 or better. You can imagine what I went through I'm sure because you been there but I kept a bone crushers wit me. Lol. Stay out the way and good luck with your second chance at life.

That's blessing I did fed time (8 years) 3 at beamont med. 2016-19 when i came i taught the cdl class one of the guys in my class had a life sentence had been down since 88 obama gave him clemency the seargant told him he was crying like a baby we were estactic for him he that life off a drug case too crack laws were treacherous in the 80,s in 90,s seen quiet a few cats getting life sentences off drug cases with no bodies or violence and crazy inhancements with 924c drugs in guns youngsters stay out the way feds are grimey for real specially with the conspiracys there making living off our black and brown too many legal ways too make good money dont't let send the kids to college are get promotions off our stupidy for real......
