A WHAAAAT?! lol, one of my favorite parts. But the rocking chair part is definitely one of my most favorite things we have done to date. Also, you ABSOLUTELY gave a MILLION more details, facts, and history than I did, just like I predicted and said over and over in my video! That's not a bad thing! I know you like the history and presenting the information, so I have no problems just skimming over stuff in my vids because I know you'll cover it! How you were able to breathe in that car shop.... I will never know. I literally couldn't breathe at all. Your shots of that empty house was so good, can't wait to move in! Yayy you did get my reaction when we walked in that museum lol! That couple was definitely amused. Great video! Again, so glad I kept saying you captured a ton more than I did cause.. you totally did! Thanks for being my heritage village buddy!

I miss that day so much one of my favorites ever, I’m glad we slept in and we’re able to go out there and just have a good time together. I’m so happy I got your reaction too haha . That couple was funny. Can’t wait to go back here with you baby and I am looking forward to our next adventure!

Like the new (to me) sign for Heritage Village! A favorite place to visit!! The Boyer Cottage and Lowe house are my favorite houses. I do miss going upstairs for the Lowe House. Thank you for the great vlog. Upstairs is the old family bathtub. story goes that back in the day the family had a weekly bath. it would be filled once (supposedly) and starting with dad to mom to oldest kid to littlest kid. The "cracker barrel" is for the olden days where crackers were in a barrel with a hole in top of barrel, just big enough for an adult hand to pull out a cracker.

I’m glad you and Cris enjoyed your time there. I live close to there and try to go a couple times a year. The general store with the garage and the train depot with a caboose are my favorite things to do there, although I’ll have to go back and check out that museum again next time I go. I don’t remember some of that stuff that you and Cris saw. I’ll try to keep a lookout for when they were open that other side of the park and give you a heads up in case you want to come back.

Oh yeah & the fort was used to the help defend against British & Native American attackers Cherokee mainly though & on July 21st 1776 the cherokee attacked the fort & just before the attack there were several women outside milking cows & they had to stop & run inside because the cherokee showed up but one woman a woman named Catherine Bonnie Kate Sherrill who btw had a elizabethton tennesee theater named after her ended up trapped outside but she was rescued & pulled over the fort walls by her future husband John Sevier who later became tennessee's first govenor & was also one of tennessee's founding fathers & also had two places named after him Sevier County & Sevierville i seen this fort btw it's really cool

them school houses need "MCGUFFIN READERS'...also see Patrick Smith the author of "A LAND REMEMEBERED", This area reminds me of the Cracker Cowboy, and the way it was back then during those cattle drives.

We did a video at the Botanical Gardens last year plus a Christmas video. We love that area! Their Christmas lights are magical. Unfortunately we ran out of time and didn't get to see much of the Heritage Village but we want to go back one day. Cris does that voice way to well lol.

Hey Tampa Jay , my names Alex and I grew up in Tarpon Springs and Miami. I was wondering what happened to the old Tarpon Zoo, it was on New19. Also have you ever heard of the Blue Sink, it was in Palm Harbor, we’d skip school and swim there. I live on 612 Pent St. went to Tarpon Elementary, the old Jr High, then Tarpon High. Was in the Class of 76. A lot of history in old Florida.

Seeing all of this stuff from the past got me to thinking about stuff that i've learnt about & seen from the past & the things that i learnt are Tennessee wasn't always called Tennessee it used to be called The State Of Franklin, there's a fort in Elizabethton Tennessee called Fort Watauga also called fort Caswell & it ain't the original fort unfortunately it's just a recreation & a museum type of attraction

Something else i learnt is that in Roan Mountain Tennessee there's a mountain called The Roan that borders North Carolina & Tennessee & was once home to a Hotel called The Cloudland Hotel back in 1885-1910 & there was once a motel in roan mountain that i can't remember the name of many many years ago & Elvis & Johnny Cash stayed at this very motel & i actually got see this motel as a child & in my early teens before it was demolished & another thing i learnt is that there's a road in Roan Mountain Tennessee called Tiger Creek Road & it's named after James T Whitehead a man who became famous for killing 99 bears & one tiger in his lifetime & was nick-named Tiger Whitehead for killing the tiger & his grave is in Roan Mountain on Tiger Creek Road oh yeah & Johnny Cash even heard about James & wrote a song about him called The Legend Of Tiger Whitehead oh yeah & i got to visit his grave for a class in the 9th grade oh yeah & Jacob The Carpetbagger visited James's grave in one of his videos a few years ago
