This was very helpful. I had same issue with my Legends ultimate did all the same tests. Opened up control deck and big burn spot right on the same chip your were testing. Sent a pic and info to Atgames hopefully they will be able to help me out.

If one of the capacitors are shorted, all 3 would appear that way as they are in parallel and current would find its way through the shorted one. Awesome video 👍

Very good! We have one at work I can the on off button has power so I'm able to turn on and off, I have a screen which is working, but I cannot operate any buttons from the keyboard, just the on off switch, any suggestions, ha8801 I have 12, 5, and 3.3vdc assuming it's control pcb

Did you find a fix for this as mine is doing the same thing? power button switches the marquee and monitor on but the controls do not work at all.

Lol true capacitance checks are done out of circuit, and definitely not with a dmm. I highly doubt 3 bad caps. This was nothing more than a vendor swap. Why are youtube creators passing around a control board 🤣
