Great video....my question is I purchased this unit from Sam's Club a few months ago....I did the firmware update and lost CoinOps and any ability to plug in external games. I heard that updating the firmware to the newest version wasn't a great idea, but I was unaware of the issues until I did it and research it. Any ideas? I don't have any window for "Advanced Features"....it appears that was lost during the firmware update.

I put mine together today with the intention of modding it for coin ops, found out all of the abiility is removed and if you want to add external games, that's behind a paywall. Packing mine up in the monring and taking it back to sams club, that was the whole appeal of these was the ability to mod them.

Can you use lightguns with the new version? I couldnt find any gun configuration option in the settings

so basically, using otg mode I can plug in my series x and play my arcade games off of it using the legends controls? Example would be the beat em ups like turtles and gijoe

@brunovaldez7986 the new model seems to load a bit faster and has a more user friendly interface...and as he said they added some other games....the older version just has some disney licensed games such as The lion king and Aladdin and Tron. Tron being one of the big name classic games was one of the reasons i wanted the older model vs the newer one. But thats just my opinion it really depends on what games your looking for and whether or not you want to add things to it or mod it in the future.

Does this have coinopsx app in App Store and what firmware version is it running I was told if it has version 5.70 or higher that coinopsx and one sauce won’t work is this true

I've been told for CoinOps you either have to downgrade to 5.68 or pay $100 to Atgames and they will allow the machine to allow it. I have a CoinOps stick coming this weekend and will pay the $100. I'll let you know what happens.

So what are the two cables for you plugged in to get the pc to work? Hdmi is monitor and what's the usb for?

I believe it’s to make the controls work properly on your chosen device. I set my Steam Deck up to use on my ALU last night but didn’t use the USB cable. The Bluetooth signal only worked for the 6 face buttons, Start, and the directions. Hoping the cable will bring the other buttons into play lol

Hi i have a BitLCd but once I did an update it wont change off the animated "Legends BitLCD" screen. Also it tells me to check BitLCD board status when trying to even try and reinstall the firmware or even the resources. Im on firmware 5.7 by chance I was wondering if you my can give me any guidance to what is going on or what im doing wrong please. Thanks.

Did you have any problems playing any of the games? We just got this and most of the games we have tried are glitchy and the instructions for which buttons to press don’t match up. We tried a pinball game and the buttons are opposite?? And another game you can set up for two players but the second person controls don’t work for it

Sorry. Correct control buttons/Joystick now working. take the console out, remove the cover. I found the cable to Joystick #2 loose. I connected it, and it works now. Check all wire connections while you're in there!
