It’s funny how men don’t get this same lecture about wanting to have kids in their 50s. In African this is normal. Women have children well into their 50s and some even early 60s. Men can have kids well into their 50s and 60s and no one gives this type of attention. My grandma had my dad well into her 50s in 1936 and she already had 13 boys my dad was boy number 14. She so wanted a girl so bad. The thing is she outlived my dad. If my dad wasn’t born I wouldn’t be here. We don’t know why she lost this child but every child comes from God and there is a purpose for every child. I wish people will stop dishing out advice and tag “God” and the end of their advice when we know if God can give Elizabeth and Zachariah a child in their old age and can give Sarah a child in her 90s he can give a woman who is 54 a child if she wants one. Men always gets a free pass but women gets frowned upon- double standards. God creates our body to do amazing things. I wish her all the best and if she still wants a child God can do it. A lady in my church found out she was pregnant at 56 gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. For those people commenting that because of her age it’s not fair- are you God? You cannot use text book to put God in a box. Our bodies are amazing and can do incredible things. No one in the comments section is God so you have no right to say who can or cannot have kids.

I don’t agree with trying to get pregnant at 54 but I don’t think Trina is psycho or immoral… I just think she has a lot of love to give and wanted to enjoy pregnancy at this later stage of life. It is dangerous despite all the healthy things we try to do but she should not be shamed about it

As a healthcare professional, I know some women may NOT want to hear this but,,, GOD MAY JUST BE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. The age of 54 & the body of 54 are 2 different things.Yes it is possible to have a child at 54,,,but it may not be the greatest thing for your body, but keep trying & I wish all of you the best. The chances of a 54 year old naturally getting pregnant and having a live birth are next to zero. I’m skeptical about the story, but even if it is as she said- She likely lost the baby due to a chromosomal abnormality. Embryos are pretty much all aneuploid at that age.
