When Vanderpump Rules first aired, I was a fan. Partly because I loved Lisa Vanderpump, that woman is hilarious. I even went to the restaurant, Sur in California while I was out there and met Jax. Every person on the show is an "interesting" character, they were definitely made for reality tv and Stassi was the mean girl. She came off as an entitled brat who thought she was better than others. When one of the girls got married, she had nasty things to say about her wedding and it was clear, she was just jealous. After watching this interview and seeing how she stumbled on some of her words, you can tell she wasn't prepared to deal with real questions. Tamron asked all the right questions. How can you grow up in a rich cultural place like New Orleans, live in LA and is relatively young and NOT know about struggles, the Black community has faced. But let's give her the benefit of the doubt... how can she not know about holocaust by describing an outfit as "Nazi chic"? She knew what she was doing but didn't care because she always got a pass or no one called her out on it until now. That is why she is cramming for the diversity test, trying to prove she's learned from her lifelong of wrong doings in a matter of months. Don't speak for Black Lives Matter after reiterating what you've read on memes.

Watched all three parts and I think she handled herself fairly well. She faltered a bit but ultimately she did ok. However by making statements after the fact about Tamron being too hard on her or what not she undid all the progress she made. Showing again that she still don’t get it. If you’ve never been discriminated against I feel that even in a diverse community it’s something you don’t know actually. Clearly the reason she said that is because she didn’t get it what is like to be on the side of actual discrimination. Not making excuses for her I don’t know her obviously. I’m just saying that I went to a majority black school in HS and I didn’t see how they felt but, I felt some reverse discrimination a couple times and I still didn’t get it from the other side point of view. I did however, make many friends and on into my adult life still didn’t get it until George Floyd it drove it right home for me and I have never been the same because I seen clearly how it didn’t matter to the cops and I’m clear now how important it is to recognize the pain and anger I now feel that it didn’t matter. It matters now more than ever to me and many that didn’t get the actual point of Black Lives Matter.

Here’s what’s not being reported, objectively. (And I am 1000% for BLM) - Faith was not a “star” of VP. She was trying to get on the show. The show had no diversity wh was wrong - Faith sleeps w Jax wh was a storyline we heard about but did not see. This is odd bc it’s a major storyline and we should have seen it but the producers likely didn’t have the footage (bc Faith was not a series reg). - At the time of the affair, Jax has a gf, Brittany, who is good friends w Stassi and Kristin. Brittany was devastated to learn of the affair, wh we saw. - So the motivations for Stassi and Kristin calling in Faith to the police has a lot of layers. #1 storyline, if you get a juicy storyline going, you will get more screen time. #2 Revenge, Faith had an affair w their good friends bf, #3 jealousy, they did not want beautiful Faith becoming a reg Pump girl and sure #4, racial prejudice. If Faith were white would they have gone down this road? Likely not unless, let’s be honest, she was what they would have considered “trailer trashy.”
