For the lady in the green shirt, I would also add something my Daddy taught me, and then something I learned recently that helped me get over people pleasing. Daddy said, *"Never forget that 'NO' is a complete sentence."* You do not have to explain _why_ you said NO to something. And recognize that *if a person doesn't want to be in your life because you refused to let then use you, then they should NOT **_BE_** in your life!* Also, recently, I was asked to do something as I was recovering from pneumonia. I said no (which is a complete sentence!). She asked me why not. I just stared at her and then was surprised to hear myself say, *"If I had said YES, would you want a reason?"* She said no. Then I said, *"If you don't need to me explain a YES, then don't ask me to explain my NO."*

That's why I could not understand the hatred towards her. We love to talk about 'keeping it real'. But when someone does it, we have a significant problem. Everyone else was running their mouth about Jada and Will for years, and that was okay. The minute she started talking, people cop an attitude. The sad part is when it is black women tearing her down.
@OneLoveRSR
@OneLoveRSR 9 ай бұрын
@@boldmover Exactly! It almost felt like the outrage was about her taking back her power and no longer giving them an opportunity to gossip about their relationship. The minute she started speaking her truth, it took away the power of their lies and they got mad. "You're making it hard for us to tear down your marriage now that you reveal you've been separated for seven years! HOW DARE YOU MAKE FOOLS OF US?!"

The EGO can be debilitating especially when we aren’t conscious . We RUSH to judgment with 💯 emotions often. Mind your business daily and you will age gracefully ‼️✨✨Mama Iya is the TRUTH even in real life 💕💕. I agree with how she supported Ms Jada . Will is just like the men we know in real life & Jada is just like that homegirl we know as well . I could never allow myself to be so invested & energetically overcharged more than the people affected by it the most who appear to be still showing up for one another & unconditionally stand by one another etc. People need to fall back bc they also do not intimately know the arrangement these two grown married people made . It’s not our business to under or over STAND . Mind the business that pays you . People are absolutely addicted to drama & trauma 🎭‼️Happy wonderful healing journey ms Jada 💕

For the lady that asked the question, I think in most cases a people pleaser’s idea of goodness is attached to what they do for others. And if they aren’t being of help to others then they aren’t good anymore. If they say no then they are being harsh or the person’s need won’t be met. And it’s worse if you are religious

Dear Lady in Green: What would you tell your daughter or son. What has worked for me with people-pleasing is a litmus test: will they still 'love' me if I have a reason for saying 'no' this time or if they ask for 500 and I give them $100, will they still be grateful. Little things like that takes courage and the willingness to not be 'loved'. It seems time and money in the long run on your journey. Be blessed.

The problem is both Will and Jada gave the public access to their private lives. Before they wrote their books they kept their marriage in the public eye. Nobody asked them to expose their personal business, Nobody asked them to tell the public how they were raising their children. Will & Jada brought the public into their lives purposely to make money and keep themselves in the spotlight. I say tell Will & Jada to mind their own business and leave the public alone. Miss me with this B.S. Will & Jada wanted this attention, they got what they asked for and all the scrutiny that goes with public opinion.

I’m sorry, Jada put her business out there for the world to see, hear and be apart of, why do everybody need to be subjected to her healing? Healing is for the individual not everyone!! I love Auntie Iyanla, I’ve been blessed to have spent a week in the rites of passage retreat years ago and it was absolutely amazing, healing, spiritual cleansing to my inner soul, however, it’s not something I would disclose to anyone, it was meant for all who was there not he rest of the world, the principles learned, I still apply to my life today. Honestly, I don’t particularly care for Jada, or her life, there’s nothing she can say that would change my perspective however, kudos to her healing process, and to all woman in the process. I don’t think people missed the healing with Jada at all, it’s just that most including myself, just did not care to hear the open book!!!
