Tamworth snowdome, any good?

Its been years since I had been to Tamworth snowdome so it may not be as I remembered it, but I always remember there was always a huge spot right before the left turn that was always icy as when I went on multiple occasions. Seriously debating a return to snowboarding and im on a huge YT binge to get me more hyped

Useful video. Looks like the best available local place to learn to ski/ practice ski drills. They have good courses for kids.

Its nice. especially if you want to learn they take it easy on you and they have decent instructors I found. I did a learning to board in a day and it was a decent lesson that saw us get to a competent level which would let us access the slope without needing an instructor next time. IMO it could do with a bit more to it, but given that it is an indoor, in the uk you cant really complain. (well thats my findings anyway)

As someone who lives here, the Snowdome (in my opinion) is amazing; I really miss going there.

I’m a Tamworth native lived here my life and I remember going here for swimming lessons at one of the local schools and doing skiing, it’s proper fun

unfortunately I have only ever see the snow side of it but it looks like it offers so much! if it was little closer I think it would be a place I could see myself far to often lol.

When you think a dry slope costs £18 for 1.5 hours in Birmingham, yet I only pay £21.50 for a 3 hour pass on a Sunday night at Snowdome, its a no brained to come here despite its small slope

Thats sort of how we were thinking, we used to go karting £40 for 30 mins.. but here all day pass in the week was about £30 if you were a member, and membership was a 1 off payment of like £10 so it made way more sense for this place

Looks nice! Bigger than Big Snow here in New Jersey, video on my page. It’s nice the lift isn’t running up the center. Did the snow feel slightly slow or sticky to you?
