No, he’s 174cm which is 5 foot 8.66 not reaching 5 foot 9. That’s considered very short for male romantic leads in China which typically requires 180cm. I personally don’t mind they can always wear height leveling shoes so doesn’t really matter. But it is a handicap when he has to be paired with other male leads he’ll obviously show to be a bit short.
