Did he even listen to what she said about her parents?…. She’s openly talked online that she was abused. He is so disingenuous to push this narrative that she needs to be with her biological parents. She handled it so well I feel for her to have to deal with that.

If you haven't been through childhood trauma caused by parents and/or caregivers, consider yourself lucky. It's super hard for people to understand who have a healthy relationship with their parents. No contact is one of the hardest things to do. Holding onto hope that people will change into something they're not is emotionally damaging within itself. I'm proud of Tana coming to peace with being no contact & knowing her parents will never be what she needs them to be. It's the toughest heartbreak to ever go through.

Yess thiss‼️Absolutely agree with everything u said! Going no contact, in my opinion, is one of the most healing things to do when it comes to dealing with a toxic parent who has a repetitive unwillingness to be a good or better parent. The emotional toll it takes to continue a relationship w someone like that is soooo much more draining & damaging than it is to cut them off. Tana should be rlly proud of herself for sure!

The part when Tana explained how people around her often are just like "why don't you go and talk to your parents?" and how much it is not at all what people think it is... That moment I felt like she talks about me... It has been the struggle of my life to explain why a normal conversation was never an option nor possible... Just like her, I also hit the point where I don't have any expectations left and am just in peace with the way it is... Thank you George for finding a deeper level with your guests. I see what you're doing here and I appreciate it. I can understand, why you wanted to have a platform, where you can express your thoughts better and more comfortably without having to worry too much about interrupting an ongoing conversation. I hope that people watch you more and become curious about your podcasts.

Someone who has followed Tana from bleach and tone era: Tana was so polite listening George when he wished Tana would eventually be good terms with her parents. I have seen Tana trying so many years and being so hurt and disappointed. She never got to experience healthy relationship with parents and i would wish she did not have to wait anymore to thinks to turn "better". The pain she has been through is enough and she can heal herself without experiencing any more new trauma experiences.

Yeah I think George was being a bit obtuse, even disrespectful, pushing the hope she can reconcile with her parents for her future children narrative. Because that implies if there is not a reconciliation, it will somehow cause lack for her children. Tana has already said her best friends family fills that role multiple times and people need to respect that bond and not imply it is less than.

I'm really trying to give George a chance. I really wanna respect him and his platform, but its hard. I get that he's clearly had a privileged life, but Tana"s relationship with her parents doesn't need your prayers. I'm not sure where all these people get off speaking to and about tana the way they do, but it gets old. Her parents are not good people. They're not good parents, and even if they miraculously woke up one day and felt that guilt, apologized and worked hard to gain her trust and love back... she doesn't have to EVER forgive them. And her willingness to give them a second chance has no fcking bearing on her future kids lives at all. I can already see that Tana will be a great, loving mother, regardless of the lifestyle she has now. I also think making comments about her future kids in the manner that you are is disrespectful and out of line. Worry about treating your future wife with a bit more respect. I wouldn't want YOUR kids to be affected by that. Side note: I get why logan snapped on you about religion now. You don't understand boundaried AT ALL. You're always trying to force your beliefs down everyones throat and you don't seem to understand "time and place" either. And you did it during a moment so personal and vulnerable for her. YOUR beliefs have no place in a conversation about HER trauma. You get that right?

George asking Tana about her "Family"... He could NEVER begin to understand the Levels of Dysfunction & Severe Abuse that people's Natural birth family can put them through! For him to push the issue when Tana has already shared so many times that she found her "Rescue Family" in Amari that LOVE HER! Tana is still looking for love in empty relationships because of the Love Void her birth family failed to impart within her correctly. She has done SO MUCH to be where she is at. She also has Overcome so many "Life's War Wounds" to be were she is today. She is so inteĺligent for her young age & holds much Wisdom too. I see in her latter life being a philanthropist in aiding women, men, children that are hurting. She has Lady Gaga vibes for helping others because Tana has such a big heart. Then George acting like a "good christian" and puting her down because of her lifestyle.."Mary Magdaline" püt down, when he is living a adultry lifestyle... TANA, KEEP LOOKING UP! My guess is that he pushed George to continue his own podcast to see were it goes and if it’s successful, George will no longer be on Impaulsive.

I just listened to Impaulsive with Jeff on the show and it's a night and day difference between this poscast and what they created. I love that you actually let guest speak. Watching that show with Jeff made me realize the guest is just their for the shows clout without actually caring about what they had to say. I gained NOTHING watching them, but feel like this opens up your mind more. I'm glad you created your own podcast.

Love George so much. But what he was saying about Tanas birth parents I just do not agree with. Some relationships are meant to die and stay dead, for the health of everyone around. I’m not religious but I heard what he was saying and I get it but I just don’t agree. I have a very similar story to Tana and it just really broke my heart listening to George say all that, he meant it with love but it definitely isn’t true in all cases. ♥️♥️ much love

Mike came out on Jeff FM and called Logan Paul. Logan was immediately rude and clicked on Mike. Didn’t even respect Jeff or say hi to him. Showed he doesn’t care about Jeff at all nor his friends. A real friend will be good to a friend even if they are stressed about being stuck at a airport. Mike knows Logan’s not the best friend but he stays for the clout and opportunities. Props for not letting that crap cloud your faith. Takes someone strong to walk away from such opportunities, even if they are bad for you.

I want to start with saying I have the most respect for George and I am a devout Christian. So with this being said, I would like to shed a little more insight on the parent/child relationship. I am a parent of two boys and they are my world. I was raised having both concepts of a great relationship with a parent and an incredibly painful relationship with another. My mom was my rock and my world she has always been wonderful. However my dad was a bit different. I was always a daddie’s girl and until I became old enough to realize what was going on, he was my favorite person. My parents divorced at a young age of mine and that was when I began to see the reality. He was an incredible human but had a horrible habit. He was on meth on and off throughout my entire life until he passed in oct. When on meth which was most of the time, he was a different person. He was abusive mentally and physically. He fell asleep with me in the car, drove into oncoming traffic. Woke up, panicked, jumped out of the car and began to frantically knock on the back of multiple houses doors. He was arrested and I was in the car watching it all happen. That was but only 1 tame story of many. I loved my dad so much that I never abandoned him like everyone else. I always held on to hope, I always tried to make him see he was wrong and the damage he was doing. My sister wiped her hands of him and I was still holding on. As the years went on, all the back and forth, around the age of 20 I realized he was destroying my soul. Truly. I had no faith in anyone. I believed no one could change. I felt like since my dad won’t give up a drug for me, I have no true value. He was putting out the light in me. It wasn’t until I became pregnant with my first child and my husband and I were in church and they asked if anyone needed praying for come up to front of the church after service. They always did this. And on that day I went up. This girl I had never met prayed over me and suddenly her tone changed and she shifted her prayer she said “ I feel a hurt that needs healing lord. A pain maybe caused by a relationship that has caused her so much pain. The lord needs you to know, he knows your pain and that you’ve never been alone. That you’ve had a father this whole time that has loved you without end. That when you feel abandoned he has always been there and knows your worth. God will never leave you.” I bawled and felt at peace. When I had my two children, I distanced myself quite a bit but over the first few years of their life I tried to carefully include him. I hoped it’d spark the change. He always disappointed me. It came to a point where he was emotionally upsetting my children and that’s where I drew the line. Hurt me but not my kids. I no longer aloud him to come around but I’d occasionally answer the phone and send a text just simply saying I love you. He stopped talking to me and a few years later overdosed and was hospitalized. His organs were all failing and he was septic. I was there instantly. As was my sister. She was devastated, and I was stoic. The years of abuse do something to you. Over the days of him in the hospital, we could do nothing but watch him dye. It was absolutely horrific. The damage he did to himself that we had to watch bring him to his dying breath. The things that happened to his body in those last days was the most scaring thing Ive endured yet. I prayed over his soul and told him I forgave him. He looked confused when I told him that. Like I had nothing to forgive. But I still do and did. I’ve learned when you start to lose any part of yourself despite trying your hardest. You need to let go of some people. Some people aren’t on the same journey of you and what Gods plan is. If they’re actively going the opposite direction of Gods path, you should not chase them in that wrong direction because where does that leave YOU. A little lost. Broken and having to navigate through things that you may not be able to come back from. I struggled from addiction trying to cope but luckily I also used him as a reason to quit and never be like him. This is a lot but just another insight.

George is someone who’s been raised by healthy loving and stable parents and had money his whole life. He’s never had the life experience of being involved in horrific, toxic, abusive situations. Or having to worry about basic human needs of survival. And it’s apparent he also hasn’t seen much of the dark/damaged parts of society. He’s lived a VERY PRIVILEGED life….And that’s not a criticism at all, it’s just factual and relevant to how he communicates. people like that don’t understand that some times there’s no happy ending and no justice. And you just have to eat the loss, and do your best to move forward and find some peace with it being fucked, it is what it is. And it isn’t just some thing you can pray your way out of…….I have watched some family members who were born into money, and also had picture perfect parents/upbringing and all the life experiences have ended positively. They. often don’t understand reality of struggle because 40,50,60,80 years of life has always gone their way. So when they see other people’s struggles they’re incapable of understanding or empathy cuz it’s assumed it must be a misunderstanding or something. Just because life went one way for them so it must be that way for everyone else.

Im so happy I found this podcast. I love Tana so MUCH! I hate when men put us women on a pedestal. Because when we are treated like a prize or a trophy, I feel that us as women aren't being seen as a real person. We want to be seen as who we really are. Not as an idea or a object. I believe that can muddy our own perception of ourselves as women. I also believe that it can slow down our process of finding ourselves and really knowing who we are. Because if we want others to see us for who we are, we have to be able to see ourselves clearly.

I think when someone is abused in a way that changes you in such a way forgiveness can come in the form of no contact. No fighting. People who don’t understand that probably have the privilege of not going through a particular type of trauma like Tana has. I certainly resonate with his she has chosen to cut her parents out of her life. She is at peace and that’s her forgiveness that’s her healing.
