I have Moon Cancer, and I think it’s fair to say that my life was pretty aimless and chaotic early, and it finally stablized when I met my now wife. Marriage definitely gave my life structure, but when my first child was born it was even more intense and gave me a sense of direction, a deep need to provide for my family and give them security. It felt like everything went on overdrive and my life really took off in every aspect. My moon is also in the 8th house, one that signifies death and rebirth. And I find that in my life I am consistently able to take the pain, anxiety, discomfort, and sense of failure that I feel (and I’ve felt it plenty since I seem to feel everything), internalize it, absorb it, and turn it into inner strength that makes me stronger, tougher, and more confident each time. It is sort of a blessing and a curse situation, since instinctively you want to avoid negative feelings that for Cancer Moons is particularly intense and can really mess up the inner peace that you so desperately need, but it is also a path towards self improvement. For my fellow Cancer Moons I will offer this advice: the deeper you make your pool of emotional reservoir, the more still the surface becomes. And this will only come with time.

I recently found out that my moon sign is Cancer (I knew nothing about moon signs). You just explained exactly what I have been going through. I am holding on to painful memories of a person just because those were the best and the worst moments of my life at the same time. I feel like the heartbreak which I went through (I guess am still going through) keeps improving me the more I think about every detail. This has been going on for years now and I am pretty tired of it. I wish there was someone out there who was able to tell me what to do and how to turn this Cancer trait off. For me it's in my nature to keep reliving the same story over and over and over again. And while it does somehow make me happy, I do feel exhausted. I guess this is what we Cancer moon people do. We relive it so that we can improve our emotion management or to avoid such mistakes in the future. I know this might be said by almost any heartbroken person but I didn't know the moon signs before and this one really resonates with me. I learned a lot from your video. Thank you!

I moved to study abroad for a year and I tried to bring so many people with me. having that constant is so necessary for me yet It seems I can never find it and the ones I try to find it in I become codependent on, but once they start to act differently I get super depressed. I love it though its quite a learning process to handle such amount of emotional energy. Im an actress, musician and interior designer. I have a Cancer Moon conjunct Cancer Venus in fifth house. I agree with everything you said , when inlove I tend to be a little clingy, hold on to a relationship ar least emotionally ( even if I don't show it). It comforts me a lot thinking that an ex-boyfriend could think of me , of us because all the past love-relationships I had are so dear to me (even in they went bad). Also, something else I noticed: I have a very strong atraction and emotional bond towards other ppl having Cancer Moon, and I met quite some Cancer Moon-ers. I never liked my Cancer Moon when I was younger either. Pain, anxiety, and discomfort just feels more intense here. As I grow older and started my family though, I find that Cancer Moon really gives me an ability to internalize and absorb negative feelings (and positive feelings too) and turn it into inner strength and conviction, helping me grow stronger, tougher, and more confident despite whatever life throws at me. Of course I think step one is to secure yourself emotional anchor, ideally a spouse or a family. Once I did that everything stablized and fell into place, especially once I had children.

Hey Tan, Great vid, I just wanted to comment that the attachment aspect is true. My friend has a Cancer moon and he was very attached to me as well, it took me some getting used to I don't know your sun and moon sign but for an Aquarius Sun and Moon like me, I need a bit of space. Eventually, I had to question my friend on it which was not easy to do. I sorta worried about it had to formulate something in my head. It was years ago but he genuinely felt very safe with me and comfortable in the workplace. It was a bit extreme though and I had to say something as if our shifts did not match he would get stressed out. It was very odd from my point of view and I did not really understand until I started looking at astrology for answers. He jumped a lot of jobs and continues to do so but he is changing, he found a girl he liked who is a Leo sun and Scorpio moon and they seem to get along quite nicely. I think it's a great match, I am not sure if perfect but, you get a Leo that can be outgoing and willing to do things. Leo's seem to encourage people to come out of their shell. Then you slam a Scorpio moon in there you can have the intuitive and emotional support as well. I know a few Scorpio moons and they probably are the calmest but sensitive emotional energy I've seen.

Any Scorpio placements can make one extreme...amazing or terrible 😅 Hope your friend got the 'good' Scorpio moon. @@TanAstrology Well Tam, My friend Who has the Cancermoon is a Pisces sun, I mentioned him in the Scorpio Ascendant video as he is a Scorp Ascendant. It's interesting as he has 3 main water signs and he can fit the descriptions for both but its never consistent all the time. Like I said his girl friend is a Leo with a Scorpio moon. When she enter his life it flushed out the good traits I knew he had it was very transformative. YOu know how you see a person on the surface but its not true because under the surface there is so much more he is one of those people. That's why I am glad to have him as a friend. I think though in relationships the compatibility is great and positive when both people can equally contribute to the relationship. When I say that I don't mean just the practical but I mean energetically. Two halves become one. I did light reading extremely light reading on i think synergy charts, where they suggest that as a whole between two people you have a new sort of sign placement. I apologize if I am incorrect, like I said very light understanding on it. Anyways, The chart created of the two people create a unique sign placement as a whole so maybe a new sun sign/moon etc.I won't go to deep as like I said my understanding on that dynamic is limited but to the point It's creating a whole new energy reaction. I think that's just amazing.

Find security from within. Know where your emotions/feelings are coming from-be super aware of their roots, which usually stems from habits since childhood. 🤗 Then when you have a reaction to something, don't respond in the usual way, go with the second, logical way of reacting. 🙂

In my experience is that you can listen to this no matter which one you follow. Vedic astrology has more divisional charts and nakshatras. But an Cancer moon is a Cancer moon in a natal chart. So listen to both signs and you will figure it out. Much love.❤
