I relate a lot to what you said about Scorpio IC . Coming from a Taurus MC , this placement actually prefers to be comfortable in its career and surrounded by their own take of beauty . They’d prefer to work for themselves, on their own time utilizing some talent or skill they posses. We raised 5 kids, equally well, they were not abused, we were not poor, there were no conflicts in the family home, we all get along very well, we live in a safe, friendly town, however, studying my kids IC made me realize: it is not WHAT we experience but HOW we react to it and how we process it that really matters. They all took different things from their upbringing, they all turned into different humans, equally wonderful, but absolutely different, each with their own unique path in life.

So true! With the Scorpio IC I've experinced a lot of intensity / dysfunction while growing up. There were power struggles and a lack of emotional safety, security. I was also faced with very taboo situations as a child (like porn, deceased spirits etc. ). All of that made me crave more safety, security and stability. And yes, I love art, beauty and aesthetics and I love to implement that in my work. I also feel like my Taurus, calming energy attracts other people quite easily, which helps me in my work area. Overall a great assessment into the Taurus midheaven. I especially appreciate how you incorporated the Scorpio IC which adds another dimension. With my IC in Scorpio, I also have my Sun in the 12th. Having an absent father, even when he was present, is something that I had to come to terms with. I've learned to be a better father by knowing what I wanted out of my relationship with my father, or lack thereof. To do the opposite of how my father was. I'm not saying he was a bad person, only that, because of how he had grown up, he fathered me the way he knew how. I appreciate him for having the courage to come to a new country and start a new life. I am thankful for who he is, because it has shaped me into who I am today. Most videos I've watched do not go much into the "roots". You truly cannot have one without the other. Much like the North and South nodes. You won't be able to understand, or appreciate, what your NN is telling you, without having an understanding of where you've been, SN. As with most of the comments about 9-5 routine, and as a Real Estate sales representative, I would tend to differ on this. While security and stability is a high consideration, the monotony of a 9-5 "job" is something I highly detest. I would see a 9-5 "job" routine more as a Virgo trait. I find that by working hard and with focus and determination, I satisfy the need for the Taurus stability and security. Thoughts?

as a child i was so embarrassed of how my home life was and i usually always went over to their houses and NEVER wanted them to come to mine. my mother told me she used to call me “devil angel” she even dressed me up as one for halloween one year i guess as a funny joke. i would portray to others my sweet side & like nothing was wrong because others didn’t treat me the way my mother did, i was ashamed that i didn’t have a normal happy childhood. i just discovered the meaning behind your IC sign and i’m not surprised it’s scorpio. now that i’m older i’m way less ashamed and it is what it is.

In my Draconic chart (which I relate to a lot better), I have this placement with Cancer rising. It makes a grand trine with Venus in 7th house in Capricorn and moon/mars/pluto in virgo in 3rd house. I have mercury and uranus in scorpio conjunct the IC. Well, I say your reading of my Taurus MC is Very good. My dad was a Taurus and my mother was a Scorpio. I was born in a small city in the Midwest which has an Aries Sun and a Scorpio Moon. I think I was so “ sheltered “/ “ cooped- up” when I was growing up that I felt as though I was in some kind of prison. We had family relatives who lived in three other houses up the street from us and I NEVER knew until I was about 15 years of age. I have had 2 marriages and 2 divorces. The first one was a Sagittarius who thought he was my “Boss” and the second one was a Libra. He was really messed up. I was of sound mind when I agreed to “ help “ him with getting his life straightened up. ( I received little credit for my effort from him.... So, Bye-bye I went.) I spent time from then till now rearing my children ( I let my daughter go live with her dad and grandparents) and getting educated. I am still looking for my niche.

I have this Midheaven, but the dissociation, is not fun, that sometimes comes with it. I got a Scorpio Moon though too, so, it made stuff WAAAY worse. Then guess who is nearby? Pluto, barreling down (the worst possible direction, could it get any worse ) yes, it's approaching, and conjunct, for life. Then the Moon in the double fallen degree.
