I get to dress up at work for Halloween. I'm going to be a unicorn this year. At home, we used to give out candy but over the last few years the number of trick or treaters has dwindled to nothing so we stopped buying candy. It makes me sad as I loved doing it.

I live in Finland and we don’t go trick or treating here. We do that on Easter while dressed up as witches, black cats, chickens, bunnies etc. Or I don’t anymore, but my kids do. ☺️ But we will celebrate by buying Halloween candy and watching some movies. ☺️ I must say that from the entire Halloween 2018 collab, Tansie is my favourite alongside with Dollightful! 💖 I’m not into horror dolls, but I must say everyone was very well made! 💖

I almost think that with the intention being to make her to represent more of the cute side of Halloween, I find her slightly creepy. Not terrifying, but something is just off enough to be a bit unsettling, which is my favourite part of this holiday anyway, so great job! I like how she's very whimsical in general, but also how she kind of is a testament to the idea of dressing up in costume on Halloween. Like, she's not dressed as any specific character, but more like when someone throws together a bunch of miscellaneous odds and ends to make something completely original for Halloween. This Halloween I'm doing a mixture of things. I have two costume contests I'm entering (one during the day and one during a party that night) Then I'm going to scare any of the remaining trick-or treating kids that might show up at my house or around the neighborhood. I might make a trip to the Halloween store the day before while I'm in my scary homemade costume to see if they like it.

this is my exact process for coming up with a halloween costume this year and both our outcomes are VERY similar. i have a bunny eared cloak and a teeth mask! and a bunch of other accessories, but i thought it was cool how that happened

Nice doll but she certainly looks rushed. Some little small tips if you choose to modify another doll's lower hands and make them like large claws, never show the joint or the upper part of the arm. Instead do long sleeves to cover the difference in colors unless you choose to paint the whole body all one color. I get that you've been busy about to move and everything but out of all the dolls done during this collaboration yours looks the laziest and least thought out of the bunch which is sad because I do like your doll customization , just not this one.
