Good luck! I just finished a series of shorts where I reacted to this series, and I did not know that Tower of Dawn was on the same timeline as EOS until I started reading it 😂 I was so disappointed that I would have to wait forever to find out what happened next, so I think you’re doing the smart thing!

Okay I’m playing devil’s advocate and leaving a comment in argument against tandem read for those who are wavering. I read them last year EoS, ToD back to back and I would prefer it this way. The tones of these books are so vastly different that I would have regretted having my emotional attention pulled in two different ways. EOS is just a monster of a book and I think it would have ruined TOD and that experience, which is so beautiful and deserves its own chops. While the end of EOS will for sure make you want to read Kingdom of Ash immediately, I loved having the come down of Tower of Dawn by the end of it. ❤

ive heard of kingdom of ash and tower of dawn tandem reading but never empire of storms and tower of dawn, I just started reading empire of storms for the second time so I might do this!

I enjoyed this but I definitely lost a third of my brain cells. Every book tok is a carbon copy of every other, and it’s all the most mindless stuff. It’s all about aesthetic and “minimalism girl things ✌️ 😝” “look at me I’m aesthetic and neat and pretty hahahehe” I dare anyone to disagree. I’m speaking facts even though there’s some aggression. So you like the opposite of aesthetic and neat and pretty? That’s fine. You don’t need to tear down other people’s preference though. This series is clearly not for you. Instead of wasting your time bashing you’re better off reading books that you like.
