Oh!, that seems to be like English tea, or a version of it. I haven't tried this Tandoori chai shown in the video, although have an impression that this tea is gaining popularity in India. I prefer Earl grey tea (no milk and sugar) with a small piece of Dark chocolate. As a matter of fact, I am having one right now. :)

It's just a normal tea mixed finally with the hot mud pot gives a smooth smoky flavour added to give you more strong feel. As an American you can assume it as a delicious chicken curry but added with a smokey tandoori flavour. So, yes it be a mix of both flavours --- you love this fusion if you like Tea.
