I was lucky enough to interview Stewart for the Floppy Days Podcast and he was kind enough to agree come to Tandy Assembly on his own dime. Terrific guy and I'm honored to have met him.

i grew up in the 80s and my dad used to bring home VHS recordings of Stewart's show Computer Chronicals for me to watch. I love it and am so happy to have rediscovered the vids on KZbin (despite Stewart hating this...) sorry Stewart! A truly cool dude with great history. loved the bit about the Apple 1984 Superbowl ad-never heard that version of the story anywhere else...

Fantastic content! Let's work on improving the audio capture. Perhaps we could do a option for TA that includes a DVD & Blu-Ray download password - or some incentive to provide funds that could go to audio/video recording fund - that would reward the donors/patreons of such content.

Imagine how fun would the blooper reel be... Printer catching fire, Gary being shot in the groin by a ping-pong playing robot, dolls talking to each other...

Stewart was the gold standard of computer journalism. Today we’re left to contend with sophomoric millennial bloggers who think they’re comedians and doofuses like Leo Laporte.
@gamingforhumanity66594 жыл бұрын
The problem is we allow those millennials to have the technology to make them more powerful than people like Stewart.

Stewart is great, what's your problem with him? Jobs was objectively a huge dick and basically everyone that knew him agreed.
