Thank you for nice words :) Yes, there are also Slovak lyrics for that songs, but in this form it is used in Kosice region of Abov. The Hungarian version we used was from our research in Szirénfalva - (Slovak village Ptrukša). And you are also right with that ruthenian (ruszin) song. P.S. We plan to present our program in Hungary this year, hope to see you in Szarvas or Maglód (in October)

Many years ago there was a very important moment when the folkdances, and folkmusic were performed on the stage. Now we live in the age when the folkdances and music step down from the stage to the danchouses among the people again and reserves its right place. This is what I see also in this film! We are lucky I think that we could save our folklore as a living folklore and not like the latin legnague. And today I think it is not a good idea to wear in a weekday dancehose the traditional folk costums. Their value is too high for this. We have to save it for the special days. Szarvas is a real option for me. I watched some film on youtube from your group. The good program is guaranteed I think.
