Hi guys, I’ve been watching you two for years now and I just wanted to say, All of us gets just one life, no matter how good or bad, there’s no do overs. So very many of us NEVER find real love and live our lives in hope, but alone. No matter what may happen re the land, the house whatever, you two are unbelievably lucky to have found each other, although I know there is a lot of work involved, your contentment, happiness and real joy in your relationship just shines off the screen every time I see you. I wish with all my heart I could have found the other half of my soul, as you two have. Always be grateful for,and careful of the precious thing you two have. Sending huge love from Australia, ( where it’s HOT )

I had this playing on my tablet as I cleaned the kitchen and was belly laughing during the poop portion of the podcast when hubby walked in for another cup of coffee. He rolled his eyes and said, "You are so weird. It's a good thing you're cute." I would have preferred being called a demon in the sheets, but I'll take it. Love these podcasts, guys, and anybody who is just listening is missing your priceless expressions and half the content. More fun than the law allows!

After my grandmother passed in 2007, I played her answering machine. A “cowboy,” had left an explicit message. I laughed hysterically every time of the 17 times replying it. Granny was getting her freak on! Good for her, I thought. Sadly, my Uncle was not amused.

Being a middle age woman, I wish telling "Larry" to get off the couch and load the kayak on the Subaru would work. It doesn't matter the approach, I feel like I'm a nag so I just do my own thing. It's very lonely being in a relationship like this. I feel her pain.

The adjustment to retirement for men is probably the hardest thing they have to do. This happened to my husband. Too late for him though, he passed away. My advice to those heading to retirement make sure you have your couple life in order. It’s a smoother transition. If he refuses. And thinks his life is over, move on. You still have life to live. Live it. I wish I would have instead of being frustrated for those last years.

I've been enjoying your videos for a few years. I am 76 and gay, medically proven during electronic shock therapy. I was married to my accepting wife for 51 years and I cared for her with MS for almost all of the 26 years she had it. I was a Baptist minister years ago, but I've been told I am welcome to even attend church because I am gay. She has recently passed and I am now free to live an authentic life as a gay man. I am keeping well and walk about 10,000 steps a day. Even though I am free to be gay and I really enjoy seeing lovely guys at the beach and at the shopping centre. I've come from the years when it was illegal to be gay and could have been sent to jail for up to 21 years, to the luxury of being openly gay. My adults kids are very accepting which is great.

For the man that retired and didn't have any hobbies....my father worked crazy hours for over 30 years. Any free time he had he support his kids activities, church, etc. So, when he retired, he literally had no hobbies other then reading. He had peers that played golf, joined volunteer groups, etc. and he refused to "learn golf" because he had 0 expereince whereas everyone else had decades (or so he thinks), and he did not want to be locked into obligations every week after feeling like he had no control over his time for so long. Very frustrating for my mother - who is an active, engaged in community person but but my father is an introvert with hearing loss (associated with his work) that impacts his enjoyment of group activities (too many people talking over each other, etc.) so it's ongoing challenge.

My Grandfather took up golf after retirement, golfed a lot on his own and my uncle cursed every time they played together, my grandfather beat him every time😅. I also have an in-law who worked long long hours for years with no time for hobbies also. Now well into retirement he grows the best tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. Maybe something will spark him.

I love your notion of making New Year's INTENTIONS instead of Resolutions because to me Resolution has always brought up thoughts of failure, try harder and setting yourself up to fail while INTENTIONS is softer and sounds like hope, promises made to yourself, by yourself for one but yourself. Thanks for the inspiration. Another interesting and eye-opening episode.

Tyler and Todd I find it sad that anyone would ask you if you had been asked to swap or be with other couples sexually. I find that disrespectful to you guys, you are married. I’ve been married for 53 years and never been asked that, I feel the person who wrote that, has a different conception of gay marriage. You both are obviously so in love with each other. The way you look at each other, and you are so respectful to one another, that is a loving relationship; love is love.

Hi guys, This is regarding the older woman hiring an escort. I teach my friends about putting a safety in place when you’re having a “date”. You tell a friend where and who you’re going to be with. You put a time frame in place. The plan is that you will call your safety at a certain time ( after the date). If you don’t call, your safety will call the police and give them the address. This puts the responsibility on the person dating and not the friend. It works great .

love you guys so much. only discovered you a few days ago through a friends recommendation and have been binge watching everything. loving the rv trip but this podcast is my fav because you really show us who you are. i am a mid 40s, married female with 3 kids (live in the country) and i just find i agree with so much of what you say and how you see the world. wish more people were like you both and i just have to say Todd, you are my spirit animal. thank you for sharing yourselves and your lives with us!!!!! oh and i have to add the photos on instagram are GORGEOUS!!!! like wow thats some beautiful photography and subject matter ; ) love you and please keep sharing. just wanted to mention that i have a trans child (who also has autism and adhd) and i will never understand parents who dont accept their kids. i may not have understood exactly how to help her navigate this at first but i told her i would learn to and i would support her no matter what. its my job to love her no matter what and also its up to me to tell her who she is but to teach her to be a good and kind person. to me that starts with acceptance. acceptance of oneself and of others.

A couple of years ago, I had a hook up with some guy. After the evening's festivities, we chatted for a bit and he told me he was a Catholic Priest! My jaw never hit the floor harder! He was quite candid about it and told me he "blessed" me with his holy water 😳🤣 and invited me to his sunday services. Needless to say, I didn't attend Sunday Mass, but I did do a little internet search... and he wasn't joking. He really was/still is the priest of that church.

This is your best talk ever! The insight that you both have about love and communicating as a couple is amazingly mature and refreshing. Most people who are decades older than you (and have already experienced love, relationships, and marriages), still haven't got it figured out as well as you two. I also envy your ability to be totally open and honest with each other. That is 90% of the secret to a long and happy life together. I understand how you feel about aggressive propositions. One time in the 60s, I (a female) was walking down the sidewalk of a busy area. This man came up to me and asked me on a date. This is for anyone's information and knowledge and I find it to be so true. "For every year you are married or if you were in an intense, intimate relationship, it takes 1 year, for every 5 years, to heal from the previous relationship." Getting involved with someone too soon after a breakup only carries all the emotions and feelings from that past relationship into the new relationship. Sooner or later what is not resolved or healed will become a huge issue in the new relationship. We have to heal because when we are not healed we tend to get triggered by current circumstances creating unforeseen obstacles in the new relationship.

I love Todd's translation of the problem! "So now is not the time for mattress shopping🤣....and you owe half for cable". Sometimes people need their issues rephrased in reality to see how they are being taken advantage of or holding on to a situation that isn't real. Like saying: "give your head a shake, it's not a real relationship".

The 50 yr old who is hesitant to come out… I can’t help but wonder how many of his family members “already know” 🤷‍♀️😂
