How come you use one kill sometimes but drill other times? One kill seems to be much easier and you get to keep your nail art. I love your work btw it helps me fall asleep :)

I'm not Jou but maybe I can help: Jou sometimes has sponsors for videos who will ask her to show off their products properly (for example the drill or the dust collector), so she has to show them however many videos they agreed upon . Another reason could be that the peel-off gel, as handy as it is, does not do well over extended periods of time (Jou's nails tend to only hold up for about 1 week). I think I remember her mentioning that the peel off base also doesn't do too well if she has to do a lot of manual labor, so builder gel/plastic extensions hold up better and nails tend not to fall off as easily.

Jou has mentioned in previous video's descriptions that one hand takes around 2-3 hours to complete. For simpler designs without much drawing/gems attached, it only takes about 1-2 hours :)

The Jello Jello gel remover that she uses to peel off whole nails only can be used with the Jello Jello peel off base gel. They are usually sold together. She has mentioned that she buys these locally from a nail supply shop near her :)

If she does not apply the special peel-off base gel, then she cannot take the whole nail off. Since she didn't use it for the Hufflepuff nails, they had to be ground off. Jou isn't really precious with her past designs, she loves creating new things!
