Nagas started the Naga freedom struggle even before India started their independence movement and were given enough opportunities and options to join the Indian mainstream but denied every offers and kept the fight and still fighting for sovereignty for the Nagas but NNPGs have agreed to merge with the indian Union if they're given enough financial packages to feed their families disregarding the Naga freedom struggle and disrespecting the blood shed by our bothers and sisters. I'm not making this up they've stated clearly before that Nagas will never get sovereignty and it's uselss to keep fighting for the same instead we should settle for something beneficial to everyone which clearly shows that they're willing to give up the decades old fight in return of financial favor from the GOI. Naga freedom struggle is real and but the present freedom fighters have lost track and have been fighting for comfort rather then sovereignty. Only Bapa Khaplang fought till his last breathe the rest are taking advantage of cease fire and enjoying their luxurious life with our money. When you die and meet God, he'll only ask you. You were given big responsibilities to shape the future of your people but you choose comfort over hardship and went astray and lost.

Tangkhul, Kabui, and Meitei are very close-knit peoples. Some of them have converted to Christianity, while others have converted to Hinduism. However, the worst part is that when Hinduism came to Manipur, many Meiteis began to think in terms of high and low caste, which further divided them. When I was young, I saw some Kabui old women come to Hindu temples and pray to Hindu gods. This shows that even though people may have different religious beliefs, they can still respect and appreciate each other's cultures, and even worship the same god. In Manipur, regardless of whether you are Hindu, Brahmin, or Christian, you will find a sanamahi God place in many homes. This is a testament to the fact that the people of Manipur are a diverse and tolerant people who respect their shared heritage. The names Kuki and Naga came later, after the British came. All problems started after the split in the Khaplang faction. Today, they have many factions that we don't know who's who. Had they managed to remain as one like the IM group, working to get a sort of agreement between them would not be that difficult. Secondly, international recognition of the Naga issues and eventually the invitation for talks by the Indian govt are all due to IM group, which we cannot deny. This is not about supporting one group or another but just stating the facts. With such a background, I feel NNPGs should always behave cautiously

I'll tell you the fact. All these comments are BS with no brain . Tangkhuls are not meiteis. In the past Tangkhul happened to share blood line with one of the clan of meiteis, not all. Just one clan. And this particular clan had no bloodline connection with the current meiteis but now that all meiteis are now interracial with different race or mix breed. Tangkhuls and meiteis doesn't have any blood relation except for that particular clan.
