Hi from Spain, I bought a Tanglewood TW15NS which stated on the specification that it had solid mahogany back and sides? I had a Fishman presys system fitted and the rectangle of "solid mahogany" that was removed to fit the Fishman in fact is clearly "laminated mahogany? I still have the rectangle of laminate to prove this. I think the guitar sounds very good but why do they lie? Have you checked if the guitar you are promoting has solid mahogany sides? Hey can someone explain this price of this guitar? I seen some of their stuff ranging at £99- £600 but why the sudden jump to £1k+? I'm assuming its solid woods but is there a change in the manufacturing or are they all built in China?

Hi, I hope yours is "all solid" my TW15NS has laminated back and sides. Their general manager told me 3 days ago by email that "the specification of the TW15NS was changed dependent on the cost and availability of materials during its 20 year production run" I find this unacceptable. Even today the Tanglewood archive website states the TW15NS and TW15NSE are both all solid, not true!! It varied from solid top with laminated sides and solid back, solid top with both laminated sides and back and finally all solid". There are numerous TW15NS guitars out there and people think they are all solid....some are not. I only found out when I had a Fish man pre-amp fitted on mine, Kind regards, John.

shame that the official video has so much buzzing of bottom strings. The player is hitting it too hard for the action it is set for. Really a shame that it interferes with listening the true sound of the guitar. I can't believe Tangle wood pays this guy to present their guitars. UST through amp is awful. My cheap sigma sounds better than this. I think the guitar itself is good but the way it is presented here is a shame.
