Wait until you see the video from 14th September - the station is awash with kids! Yes, good to see.

Another good video Tim, good to see a new working through the citadel and a compliment too!👍

I didn't hear the compliment when it was made - too busy concentrating on the drone (plus increasingly deaf in my old age) but was highly amused when I came upon it during the editing process - compliments from a five-year-old!

I'll do my best - but - when it's Tangmere, Tangmere and Tangmere yet again - it gets harder to maintain the interest level.
@cedarcam2 ай бұрын
You still made it an enjoyable video even though Tangmere is the main feature yet again.. I like how you showed a bit of her design history as well.

@@cedarcam It really is getting difficult to maintain the interest with Tangmere appearing so frequently - back again today - so I have to try to introduce something fresh before viewers simply stop watching. I have some ideas for today provided the weather doesn't stop me.

Nice one as always Tim, love watching your videos. Your commentary never interrupts the action, unlike some others who talk over the trains that go by. I reccomend visiting Oxenholme and the Windermere branch for the day, as Tangmere is usually attached at Carnforth, so will be accelerating for Shap Summit. Just a suggestion for a future video Best wishes from Joe/NorthernerTransportHub

Thank you Joe. I'll bear your suggestion in mind - it's a branch I've long wanted to try.

Very good Tim and interesting hearing how that type of stream train was built and how it works the other trains were interesting to see as well
@schoolshorts2 ай бұрын
Thank you Fraser - it's getting harder to keep Tangmere interesting when she's here so often.
@FraserWest-um4ue2 ай бұрын
Why is she at Carlisle station so often compared to any other stream train Tim
@schoolshorts2 ай бұрын
West Coast Railways have not fitted their Mark 1 coaches with central locking which is now required by the Office for Road and Rail. The more modern coaches are air-braked and Tangmere is the only steam engine in the WCR fleet fitted with air braking - all their other locos are fitted with vacuum brakes and cannot haul air-braked stock. Other operating companies have fitted their carriages with the required central locking but they don't visit Carlisle so often.
@FraserWest-um4ue2 ай бұрын
Yes I knew about the central locking for the train carriages but there’s a steam train that goes from fort William to the Kyle off lochalsh it’s the on the west coast of Scotland 🏴 off Scotland 🏴 but the rail operator won’t spend the money 💰 putting the central locking for the train carriages on because of the amount of money so the rail tours are not working this year Tim and might not be for sometime so a diesel class 37 is doing the tour instead of the steam train
@FraserWest-um4ue2 ай бұрын
Tim just seen a video of the other 9 bullied steam trains they are all different but worth seeing that’s for sure
