Hi love your channel ! Thank you for all your content! I’m new to tango and thought I should rush to learn adornos to improve my dance. Now I realize I should concentrate back to the basics. I had a great time at the milonga one night but woke up with a stiff neck that lasted 3 days. I was doing everything you said not to do!!!! Wow 😯 now I know haha!! But I have to say I did enjoy connecting with the forehead somehow I thought it was a connection😅. I will try try again 👌

Excellent video, so many different variations of the embrace are being taught, danced and passed off as just an element of style. Very hard to dance with those who do not observe good technique.

Yes, hugely helpful.🙏 Edit: I’ve seen followers with their forehead on the leaders cheek. I just was kinda puzzled by that. I have never had a lesson on head positions in tango. All I was ever told was your head doesn’t move right and left which is more ballroom than Argentine tango.

Thank you ! I really enjoy your videos.. sometimes I see followers looking down like they are trying to look at their steps and decorations. Is that right?

Is the final body connection (right to right) kind of Promenade look.

Can please describe the connection at your chest. Her normal position seems much more to the right than centered and angled open which gives her a more angular walking style.

I find when I'm dancing with a lady and she is looking to her right, what happens is her head is blocking my line of sight and I cannot see where I am going.

Be sure your left steps are long enough…

What a coincidence I was at a practica , two followers completely different head positions … I struggled to adapt ..obviously followers taught and interpreted something very so after the lesson I asked them to look at your you tube channel so they can work it out themselves I.e don’t listen to me listen to the Professionals not me lol 😂 😂 b

My teacher told me that in original tangos (back in the day), men had come in from the fields and smelled so women turned their heads to the side so they didn't have to smell them.

You'd think head position is a simple thing.. then you realise you're doing it all wrong 😂😂😂
