What you gotta understand Tango is that to someone with insomnia ‘I use your videos to fall asleep’ is a great compliment. People who sleep regular think this means the video is boring. But to those with disregulated sleep finding an appropriate sleep video is a challenge. You need something familiar and chill and engaging enough to drone into your head. A boring video won’t do it because those just wind you up. The video author has to have the right way of speaking; a flat tone of voice won’t get you there, a bombastic presentation will startled you, you need someone who’s a good conversationalist and who’s tone of voice naturally shifts with the flow of the subject.

Exactly. Also helps people with ADHD. Even if they are just listening (at a low volume) to something familiar and calming rather than watching it can help to release melatonin and seratonin to help slow their heart rate and breathing - bringing on sleep quicker.

Yes exactly. I sometimes want to tell people that their videos help me sleep as a compliment, but often I feel like I shouldn't say that only because of the negative stigma. But it really is helpful and means their videos are precisely both calming and engaging enough to get me there quicker. Falling asleep while watching a good video is way easier for me than falling asleep when I'm bored.

I think its an insomniac thing. Gem has said before on her Stardew streams that she is here for the cozy vibes and napping to her stream is great. Impulse gets it after dealing with sleep apnea for umpteen years. Sleep is a valuable and rare commodity so if a stream by a certain person can consistently allow someone to sleep that stream is worth gold. Especially for people like me where sleep meds either dont do anything or give us nightmares and make the situation worse. There are a couple that i play over and over for really bad days where i cant get to and stay asleep.

The whole reality TV conversation is so relatable to me 😂 My mom loves reality TV, and I hate it. I am Tango in those moments 😅 Regarding turning Thunder Mountain Railroad into a Frozen coaster: in Disney World in Orlando, Epcot specifically, there apparently *is* a Frozen ride. I've never gotten to check it out, though. But they also have a Guardians of the Galaxy coaster in Epcot, which is *amazing* and blasts a randomly-chosen 80s song every ride. Zooming through space around a black hole while Blondie blares in your ears is definitely an experience! And then Doc continues the After Dark theme by dropping an F-bomb 😅

I know it's said in jest, but I love having a hermit's video or vod on when I go to bed. It's usually one I've watched already, or at least one I'll watch while awake later. For me, it's not a "you put me to sleep" thing. It's a comfort thing. Falling asleep while chuckling at Tango and Scar and sick sassy Gem is great. Dozing off while listening to Tango heckle Etho in Decked Out 2 was wonderful. Some are too startling for it. But so many are awesomely relaxing and it's great to fall asleep happy. I'm also an oddball that watches the videos they post several times each. At the very least, views.

Scar could absolutely drive a car! I got a ride home from a paraplegic once. It was a guy I knew in college and he drove a van with a wheelchair lift, and the accelerator and brake were attached to controls on the steering wheel. He could drive perfectly fine without anyone's help!

Frogger lobby is great, honestly all the hermits just chatting like this in between running the game was so fun during DO, I hope it remains a thing for when the game opens. Custom ringtones that you had to pay for were so popular when I was in highschool but never got one, I had a flip phone with default ringtone for me to call my mom and that was about it lmao Etho needs to build that massive frog (idk his name) from Naruto around the game, finally tie into his skin lol I'm with Gem I still buy Blu rays because companies regularly take down IPs because we don't have laws for ensuring media doesn't disappear, also most come with digital codes for My Movies/Movies Anywhere/etc so even if you don't play the actual disc, you still have it when you want it and don't have to rent or hunt down which streaming service has it.

Freezer ideas: Have fish sliding down a hunny block and have to “fish” them out ( would need fishing rods that could be used for fuel/ run out of durability) Shoot a target block ( bullseye?) with snowballs to open a trapdoor (could use snowman powered snow farm but would need to provide shovels) Having another player to open the freezer may prevent curtain “maps” or customisation, such as locking one person in the farm as they won’t be able to reach the button (could have multiple locations?).
