Tangzu Tang Sancai Wide Bore Ear-Tip Review - One of the weirdest tips out there!

You're right. The one thing they're good at is slightly, SLIGHTLY, reduce the air pressure. If I want a reduced bass and extended treble, the Spring Tips work better than the Wide Bore Sancai. At least for me. Doesn't stay well in my ears either. Others swear by it, so it's very subjective. The Narrow Bore is marginally better, at least.

I'd take the more narrow bore any day of the week over these: they really are among the weirdest and possibly worst tips I have tried so far and even when looking for other opinions, I couldn't really find one that was excited about them xD

I was suspecting that azla sedna will be good option as many reviewers mentioned but for me it was horror xD never ever I will put in my ear tips made from sticky silicone or other weird material on surface. No idea how people are putting those to the ear if it sticks to ear and wont go deeper, those didnt seal properly and my mest mk2 was attempting to murder my eardrums with trebles. Now I am looking for other tips even if stock suits me well but it looks like pointless effort since there is more possibility that new ones wont fit my ear

@@soulfulfool You mean the Xelastecs? Yeah, they are THE MOST STICKY tip on the market. That's why I also mentioned that in my review for them as I have read there are quite a few other people not liking this texture as well^^ Alternatively, Azla has the Max, normal Sedna Earfit and a bunch more, which I unfortunately haven't tried so far. But all of them minus the Xelastecs 2 should have normal silicone and not the sticky TPE.

@@soulfulfool do your mests make KZbin videos sound odd if you don’t get the intended fit for the bcd? Like voices sounding overly buzzy? That’s my experience with the Mext at least. It’s happening it both ears equally, so it’s gotta be the bcd. Music oddly sounds amazing though and I don’t notice it.

I'm using them with KBear Rosefinch since thats like a budget Sub bass IEMs , Atleast it makes it sound nicer for me. (Got them when I bought the Navi XV 😅)

Nice video. I bought these and I absolutely hate them. Will probably throw them away. They feel cheap and the sound ... No bass, exaggerated treble, mediocre mids.

Oh absolutely regular, wide or the Clarion are not tips I'd recommend due to them having a very wide outlet, which does not work so well in terms of comfort and also has the potential to change the sound more than "average sizes" outlets.

Yeah tang sencai seem to be mid forward tips, so that measurement could be true... maybe exaggerated.

Yeah, I think this is due to the weird outlet with the thin mantle and thin bore...

@@don_spektor some people seem to really like them, but for me…..too muffled like foams. Which is strange for a wide bore tip.

​@@Hijynx87 My measurements show super wide outlet tips like these or Crystal reducing treble a bit, so I assume this might be the reason for your "muffled" experience. Foam though, I could not measure a difference, but due to the fit they have I assume it is very likely they can reduce treble as well^^

@@don_spektor well my favorite tip is the feaule h570, which is a very wide bore like crystal but softer. It’s a great balanced tip that seems to open everything nicely. Divinus wide bore has this effect too, but don’t insert quite as deep. I’m guessing the tang sencai wide’s texture is dulling both the bass and some treble (mid forward) or it’s folding a bit in my ear.

@@Hijynx87 I had to google the H570 tips first I have to admit^^ They definitively are widely different in the way the implement the wide-bore: the Tang Sancai generally seems to be wider and then just adding an even wider horn around the outlet, which probably also affects the fit in the ear. I'll keep an eye on the H570 to see if they do better than other horn-shaped tips, thank you for mentioning them :-)

They're absolutely TERRIBLE Quality!! Mine's bore split after i put them on my Letshuoer S12 Pro rendering them useless 😀. They gave me 3$ refund though so i guess its OK. The bore material is too thick and it will split if you use them on a wide nozzle iem.

Oh ok, I didn't expect it to just split but it somehow also doesn't really surprise me, this tip somehow feels more flimsy than the regular Tang Sancai and then we haven't even tackled the bad fit xD
