For kids we ask them to jump up and try to touch the ceiling to assess acute appy. Would that work in the adult patient that can't get to the clinic?

If a doctor is only gonna do a video visit they aren't a good doctor. Especially if it's a new patient. There is so much you're not going to know over a video as opposed to doing it yourself. It's bad enough that many patients already feel like they are on a assembly line with doctors rushing appointments.

Telemedicine only became a thing so patients can be seen despite the pandemic. Lol don’t shame us for still trying to provide care for patients during troubling times. Shame on you for contributing literally nothing to society. And on top of that you have the audacity to shame doctors who are trying to make do with what we had during the time to still provide some form of healthcare. We aren’t idiots dude. If it’s a complicated case or they need further evaluation or it’s an emergency, we’ll ask them to come in.

wrong attitude, while not appropriate for all complaints/ many can easily be done virtually and increases access to patient
