As a manga reader who read almost 7 times already, love this eps so much. This arc is really short in manga so they need to extend to be 8 episodes in total. I love seeing new stuff! A lot of foreshadowing in this eps for the next arc and final arc. Ufotable really did a great job for this one. We need more "normal" eps to share this wholesome interaction before everything become disaster in the next arc.

I didn't like this episode much either, compared to the previous one, in which we got to know Giyu a little better. In this one, however, we only had a part of the training that, perhaps, didn't contribute as much as other episodes. On the other hand, I understand that Demon Slayer is an adaptation of a manga that is already written and finished, so the content of each episode is determined by the original chapters. I also understand that the arc of this season is very short and that all these training scenes, although they might be filler, will serve as justification for the increase in power of the protagonists before the upcoming battle. Having said this, I hope that this season covers at least the following three aspects, which are also quite important: the Infinite Fortress, the search for the cure for demons, and Muzan's search for Nezuko. I wouldn't mind if they continued developing the other Hashiras we haven't seen, maybe focusing on Sanemi and Iguro, and even continuing with Giyu.

i've read the manga and i really like some things they added on this ep, it helps to set some things up and adds emotional weight and development to the characters. it's really nice to see more of Tengen and i hope they do this with most Hashira. keep theorizing, careful with the comments and don't search for things because you'll get spoiled. thanks for the reaction!

I think they will. Theyll keep every hashira training an episode I feel like, since all their trainings are literally like only a page long in the manga. So an episode per hashira should flesh them all out more. Gyomei's training is the only one that got more time in the manga, so I don't think theirs much to add for him, more so the other hashiras

Sanemi and Gyōmei were the ones who got more time so those eps will prob have the least ammount of anime original, and Gyōmei's ep will prob be a long finale. can't wait to see how it will turn out.

But seriously knowing what happens in the Infinity castle arc I think this is an important arc to have for several reasons despite what tiktok brained individuals might say: 1) We get to actually sit with the characters in non life or death situations, get to know the Hashira and the corps before the big battle which is important because the audience needs to care for them 2) We get to see that despite needing the help of the Hashira the Hashira also needed Tanjiro and Co. to win there's a bigger distance in power between the rest of the demon slayers and Tanjiro than between him and the Hashira

Either Upper Moon 4 actually survived or he's been replaced. Season 2 it showed Doma used to be upper moon 6 until he found Daki and Gyutaro. So it could be Muzan is rebuilding the entire 12 demon moons to get Nezuko. Cause honestly I don't see them winning with just 3 upper moons against the entire Demon Slayer Corp. We've never seen 2 hashiras work together in a fight, they've always had a 1on1 with the upper moons
