Though that's basically the end of the story, so you're right, she doesn't really do anything in the second and third to last arcs. She does turn human again and can therefore speak properly.

I do find myself hoping that the anime explores in greater detail, the relationships between Tanjiro and Kanao, Inosuke and Aoi and Zenitsu and Nezuko. Just adding small scenes like this would add some fantastic depth to their relationships, without distracting from the overall storyline.

Tanjiro's box usually has nezuko in it, and he never fills its with anything else from what I've seen.
