Tanjore Painting on Blouse Piece / Fabric

1. Prepare the fabric: Choose a fabric suitable for painting, such as cotton or silk. Ensure that it is clean and free from any wrinkles or creases. Stretch the fabric on a wooden frame or secure it tightly on a flat surface using tape.
2. Sketch the design: Use a pencil to lightly sketch the design you want to paint on the fabric. Tanjore paintings often depict deities, mythological scenes, or traditional patterns. You can find inspiration from existing Tanjore paintings or create your own design.
3. Paint d body with pearl white and pink color
4. Add gold acrylic color: with pointed brush to apply gold acrylic color on specific areas of the design. Tanjore paintings often highlight certain elements with gold, such as jewelry, borders, or background patterns. Use the brush to carefully outline and fill in these areas with the gold paint. and outline with black color to highlight d design.
5. Apply stick stones: Tanjore paintings are known for their use of colorful and decorative stick stones, also called kundan stones. These stones are typically in various shapes and sizes and add a three-dimensional effect to the painting. Use a fabric glue or adhesive specifically designed for stick stones and carefully place the stones on the painting according to your design. Press them gently to ensure they adhere properly.
6. Finishing touches: Once the stones are in place, review the painting and make any necessary touch-ups with the acrylic colors. Ensure that all the elements are well-defined and the colors are vibrant. You may also consider adding additional details or embellishments, such as gold or silver threadwork, if desired.
7. Let it dry: Allow the painting to dry completely before removing it from the frame or flat surface. Follow the instructions on the acrylic paint and stick stone adhesive regarding the drying time.
Remember to practice caution while working with acrylic colors and stick stones. Work in a well-ventilated area, use appropriate safety gear, and handle the materials carefully to avoid any accidents or injuries.
