I am overjoyed to have come across this video and have subscribed to receive notification of all your following videos. I am fascinated to learn this technique, not least because I am seeing so many similarities with European icon painting in the preparation of the panels. I also make jewellery, so am delighted to see the addition of cabochon stones. Incidentally, I was born in Mumbai where my family lived for many, many years and where I lived until I was 12 years old. I have an inborn affinity with Indian art!
