well mathematically its not that bad, each stack at that point gives roughly 30 hp, each point of hp is worth 2.66~ gp (ruby crystal) so he ended up getting around 240gp worth of value from those 3 stacks alone. so he effectively got a kill's worth of gold in stats from that death. Also by the end of the game he gained 3,853.33~ gp worth of hp from just the stacks alone, not including the additional 3% total hp from the mythic passive or the bonus AD from titanic.

@@deejaydee1578 by itself no. but the dmg scales with max hp, you can buy a single other tank item and be immortal while chunking people or you can afford to build full damage items while still being durable enough to survive.

@@askyw69 what "single other tank item" do you speak of? You need two items to cover for both armor and mr, sunfire and spirit visage for example, or otherwise you get melted instantly by all the max and current health in the game. The only item you could be speaking about is gargoyle, but it's expensive and better as a capstone item, not as a second item to cover your ass for resists. Yes the damage scales, but like, just getting eclipse with deaths dance and maw is enough, you heal for more effective hp then you gain stacking the hearsteel, and you still have resists.

it's easy to see why though, if you can stack it properly it is the most gold efficient item in the game, period. that being said in order to use it to it's full value you have to be a champ with decent engage and sticking power who at the same time can benefit from titanic and/or demonic.

That K’sant tho, had that Gwen treatment, Weak on release Broken after the Buffs. Like WTF even is that? Can Tank, can burst, does true/Max health damage, can dash 2 to 3 times, low cooldowns, has 2 to 3 CC’s has a Short CD shield that is also a dash, Can build full Armor and it can still Burst while chasing you down.

Yeah, Heartsteel breaks every bruiser in the game. Just finished fighting a full tank Morde with 1000 stacks, a total of 7k health and a demonic embrace giving him 400 AP on top of it all. Such fun many balance!
