I got a chance to interview the Champ Gervonta "Tank" Davis at his press conference today! We spoke about his upcoming fight against Martin, not underestimating your opponent and more!

That is the difference between Tank and guys like Broner and Haney. They believe what they say to sell the fight, so they underestimate their opponents. Tank says one thing to promote the fight and another to win it. Probably one of the most important lessons he has taken from Mayweather.

I have the clip where Martin corrects the reporter who asks him “so you’re saying you’re going to knock Tank out” and Martin reply’s “I didn’t say I was going to knock him out, If he come in there and get reckless he going to sleep” it’s on fighthype “warns tank GONNA RUN INTO SOMETHING “ You told Tank something with confidence and when tank asked you “did he say that” you said “yes he did” and he didn’t. I do this for a living but with companies and when I see reporters or journalists like yourself say stuff like that just to stir the pot I call it out as a peer. Stuff like that is why these fighters don’t like the media because you guys twist words for views.

When tank said Frank is “In the top 10” he means he’s ranked in most sanctioning bodies as a top 10 contender which means at any time he can get a shot at the title. Either the regular belt or super belt depending on his status. Not that he feels he’s a top 10 fighter. If you’re looking for someone to help with boxing knowledge we can discuss offline.
