Semington The Tank Killing Zone|Anti-Tank Gun Emplacements|Invasion Defences

Exploring the WW2 defences around the Village of Semington. Due to Its proximity to the Main A350, the Village was declared a Tank Killing Zone. Ringed with Anti-Tank Defences, the Germans would have been met with a formidable force, stopping the advance long enough to be counter attacked.

Interesting video, the second pill box used to be accessible before the farmer limited access. I live in Semington but have never noticed the mounts for the vertical rails before. Thanks for educating us.
