Steffen Robitzsch, No doubt brother, mine is in the speed shop getting a new Holley Terminator EFI system. I love to drive it and the EFI will go a long way towards reliability and power. Can’t wait to put in the first tank of E85😁 Thanks for the video the fuel tank, it was on point. Good luck with your TA and I’ll be on the lookout for more of your TA videos. Are you on instagram?

@@hiviz1763 I am not currently on instagram, I had my accounts hacked recently and shut them all down. Shame to it was filled with TA updates. I did the QA1 coilovers on the front and back. I would like to know when you get the car back if you experience any gas smell since you converted to EFI. Thats my main reason to switch, along with MPG and reliability. But more than anything I want to switch due to reeking of gas when i'm done cruising.

Well I know it’s been a while, rough year to say the least…. I do have an update on my 78. Did the switch to the Terminator Stealth EFI from Holly. Gas smell from 93 and E85 is greatly reduced. Oh, I did install a flex fuel sensor as the Terminator supports it. I cheaped out initially due to some bad advice from a “mechanic” and stayed with my factory tank and an external fuel pump. Not good… Fortunately I was able to source the same tank you have with the internal baffles and sump and it will be equipped with the Hellcat pump so we should finally be able to fully support the 461. Should be able to get it updated this week. I’ll keep you posted. Any updates on your TA?

I just ordered a TANKS inc. Tank for my 78 T/A as well! I might document the process and upload too! I'm supercharged so I have to do a couple things different but should be cool!

According to the manual there is supposed to be some type of air valve in that rubber vent tube. I am still trying to figure this all out.

There is, mine was a billet looking piece that was a vent and mechanism that would close if turned upside down. Just in case the car flips gas won't pour everywhere. I actually don't have mine hooked up currently. I have the line running into the EVAP canister at the front of the car from the factory

I am also using my factory fuel gauge and it never used to bounce when I made turns but it does now since I have the tanks Inc tank

Steffen Robitzsch my 76 was missing the carb, intake and canaster. There are 3 lines, 1/4 5/16 and 3/8. Which size line goes to what. Also the gas tank sending unit has two pipes out and one line out of tank. Do you know what size line goes where?

​@@robertmccully2792 If you are standing looking at the back of the car you should have one line on your left(this is the send), and two on the right are return and vent lines(I believe this is correct, the line that is farther back towards the rear of the car is the vent line to the charcoal canister and the other line is the return fuel line). The tank has two vents, the one that sticks right off the tank and the other is the line in the middle of the pick-up tube(mounted on top of the tank that brings fuel from the inside of the tank to the lines). You can hook both vents together with the supplied "Y" piece or cap one off, up to you. I used both. I did not use the supplied roll-over valve. Does that answer your question? I have recently started running a new fuel pump on the engine from edlebrock and it made a world of difference in performance and constant fuel supply.

Steffen Robitzsch I saw your tank, it has 3 inlets in sending unit , mine has two. You have a total of four into tank. My tank has 3. My fuel pump was missing also.. The answer that would help me is what size OD is each line. And a diagram of where each line goes.. from the tank to the fuel pump to the carb and back to tank.. I can not find this info anywhere.. if you can help much appreciate.. [e-mail] or send me a text message pic. 360-789-3425.
