Hear me out. I remember Ray saying "You got my powers?" which is what Kai's father said to him when he 1st saw his son later in life even if Kai was already 2-3 before getting kidnapped by Krux. So I allways thought that the elemental powers BELONG to the master's element, but recieve it later. I am pretty sure Ray had his powers while Krux kidnapped them, but if he had his powers, why didn't he whooped Krux? We'll Ray might have not knew that Krux was bluffing and thought that the kids were kidnapped and eventually after then he lost his powers.

1. I am glad Obscuria is Shade's Daughter. 2. How do we know Obscuria wasn't a baby or toddler when Shade was in the Tourmanent of Elements? He COULD have been in his late teens to early 20s by then, old enough to have a kid. ALSO remember how old Kai and Nya and the OTHER Ninja were when they fully unlocked their powers? This just confirms what I've always said about elemental powers. If this means Cinder is Ash(and Tox's) son I will be so happy! Lilly did still have her powers when Cole was born and I think that after Cole's grandfather, Lilly's dad, betrayed the alliance he lost the Earth Element and it went to Lilly. The element deemed him unworthy to wield it, because we never see him use any earth powers against the Time Twins, which he could have been a bigger help had he had his element, meaning he did not and Lilly had it, since I see her and Jay's mom and Maya and Ray all being around the same age.

I do NOT think that at the time of Dragons Rising Season 2, it’s been 15 years since Hunted because that seems like WAY too big a gap. If Obscuria is the same age as Arin, Sora and Wyldfire, then I highly doubt that they were born around the events of Hunted, so let’s try look into this… For example, let’s look at Arin. The first time we see Arin, it’s been a little while after Crystalized (maybe a few months) so if Arin was 10 years old when the Merge happened, he might have been 9 during Crystalized, 8 during Seabound since there’s a confirmed one year gap between those two seasons and maybe 7 halfway through the Wildbrain era. **Side note, I think there’s a two year gap between Hunted and Seabound because in Hunted, Kai said that he and Jay were still teenagers then so I’m guessing the two of them were 19 in that season and in Seabound, Misako said Kai was a grown man so by then, he must have been 21.** If that’s all true, then in Hunted, Arin would have been either 5 or 6 years old (which means Obscuria would’ve been the same age when her father, Shade joined Lloyd and the Elemental Masters in the fight against Garmadon). And since Shade still had his powers in Hunted, that means they did not get passed down yet (maybe the child of an Elemental Master needs to be a certain age before they inherit their parents powers, that would honestly make a lot of sense). In Hands of Time, Arin would have been 4 or 5 since again there’s a confirmed one year gap between HoT and Sons of Garmadon. After that, things gets even trickier with the timeline because apart from (I think) another one year gap between Seasons 2 and 3, there’s not really any clues about how much time is between each season in the early years of Ninjago. But let’s look back at some of my previous guesses and try to get some answers… If Kai and Jay were 19 in Hunted and Arin was (let’s say) 5, that means Kai and Jay were both 14 when Arin was born. Nya is about two years younger than Kai and Jay while Cole is about a year older. By HoT, the ninja had been ninja for a while now so best guess is that when they were recruited by Master Wu in the Pilot, Kai and Jay were 15 years old, Cole was 16 and Nya was about 13. Meaning if any of this is somehow true, then new characters like Arin and Obscuria were about a year old when Ninjago started. Jump to Dragons Rising Season 1 and if Arin is 15, then Kai and Jay are around 28-29 years old, Nya is 26-27 and Cole is possibly in his early 30s which is crazy to think about. Then (I think) there’s a year long gap between DR S1 and DR S2 which means all the characters are aged up one year and if Obscuria is the same age as Arin, then she is 16 when we meet her in DR S2, meaning it’s only been 11 years since Hunted in the Ninjago timeline. This is all just a guess btw and I tried my best to make it make sense for everyone. Hope all this helps someone who’s trying to figure out the Ninjago timeline.

This might be a huge scretch but maybe the timeline is actually right (atleast with obscuria)abd i can prove it: In season 7 episode 8 ray says:” Kai, you have inherited my elemental power” and right before ray and maya got kidnapped, kai looked about 6 years old. What if elemental powers take time to go to kther elemental masters. If this is false, then ray wouldn’t say that, because he should have known kai would get it. If thats true that means that shade could have a child before hunted, while still keeping his powers. Lets say obscuria was at least 6 before she got her powers, and is 15 when we first saw her. In between hunted and dr s2 should be 9 years then. From the end of seabound till the beginning of crystalized was 1 year. From the start of the merge (lets say shortly after crystalized) until season 1 was 5 years. From drs1 till drs2 was another year. In total we got 7 “confirmed” years. I bet between hunted and beginning of seabound could really be 2 years Edit: just watched like 20 seconds more, and found out that doc wyatt confirmed that these delays are possible. Idk Obscuira's age, but I don't think their age matters anymore. Kai is 2 years older than Nya. And it's confirmed that Lloyd and Nya are around the same age, and in s1 she was at least 13-14, but he was shorter than her and looked younger. Also in s2 Lloyd's mental age was confirmed to be 14. However, in season 8 all the ninjas are still teenagers. Also, Sora is 15 but is not short like 14 years old Lloyd. And Nelson has been "Lil"Nelson since season 6. So yeah the ninjago timeline is kinda messed up🫤

If there are anomalies to the usual passing on of powers then Lloyd will be another one. In my Lloyd story the usual passing on of powers has been skipped (Misako hasn't got any), but the grandparents generation passes it on (perhaps, as it remains a bit of a mystery to Lloyd in the story). The time of the Serpentine Wars, established wrongly by "Hands of time" at 40 years, needs to be officially amended to 20 years. Only then can Misako receive the love letter referenced in Season 4 and have Lloyd under normal biological circumstances (courting at the age of 20-25 and childbirth at around the age of 43).

Obscuria could definitely be around the age of Arin and Sora. The merge happened when Arin was very young and there is a large time jump to the present in Dragons Rising. There is also a long time after Nya vanishes into the sea. There's also a while in season 11 where a lot of time goes by too.

I have grown up on this show and quite honestly I love it dearly but I know full well that they're are times when things just do not add up XD like why Harumi and Lloyd seem to be the same age in both season 1 and season 8 of ninjago.
