You know that the original black suit on wu is his father's suit. He wears it as remembrance. The legacy one is good but what makes the figure good isn't just the design it's also the story it tells

I think the FSM wore a different robe with the same protection spell. What makes it special is that it was what banished Garmadon to the Underworld (it feels coldhearted and out of character for Wu to treasure the robe that sealed his brother's fate now that Garmadon has been developed past just being evil, but at the time there was no Great Devourer and Wu's relationship with Garmadon was far less complex and more adversarial)

Wu sure does take on the "regal look" a lot in his robes, which fits as he is the true ruler of Ninjago's realm(and Garmadon too but he's not in a good place mentally right now to represent a ruler). I agree with this tier, and I think his season 5 robe is my favorite old Wu look and his Hunted clothes(both the torn Dragon Hunter outfit and the Dragon Armor) are perfect for his Teen self.
