Hey Tanner, not sure if you'll see this, but I just wanted to let you know that I think that's an insanely great lesson for everyone, but especially racers. The way you handled that incident was PROFESSIONAL. Absolutely dedicated and collected attitude and that's so insanely impressive to see from you. No doubt in my mind that you could make a full career from racing. Thats the attitude that will set you aside from others. I'll always remember that, and guaranteed someday it'll help me. Porch sitter? You realize DD has gone to Florida, Ohio, and west virginia this year alone? Last year he traveled with the all Stars, went to knoxville and picked up a win in Texas. That's not the definition of a porch sitter. To take 2nd in points when racing against the all stars is quite an accomplishment. How about you get a car, leave your porch and give it a try?

Tanner. You've decided that, to be successful, you are going to be more aggressive in the future. Will you be as aggressive on the local tracks in all the categories, or just with All Stars in the 410? For what it's worth I think that you should be more aggressive in all categories. In the future you can always back down the aggressiveness if it's not paying off or giving you a reputation you don't want. NASCAR owners know that it's much easier to tone down an aggressive driver that to make a meek driver aggressive. Aggressive drivers are much more likely to win races.

It was a racing incident and hopefully a lesson learned. Hopefully you guys got a chance to discuss what happened, because DD has a lot of knowledge that he will share. You left a lane open, the final transfer spot. Back in the day, the crusty car owner would have fired you for not at least goin for it.

Tanner ran the low line the entire race. Shouldn't that pass have been attempted on the high side? Dude had a ton of momentum and didn't clear Tanner. What could Tanner have done differently? I just don't see how it's his fault at all. But I'm just an iRacer. (Edit, I guess maybe Tanner started his entry a little later than normal. Is that the mistake you are referencing? I just don't know how Tanner could have known someone was about to try and pass on the low side there.)

Pretty sure they were both in transfer spots, but that might be wrong. Remember Tanner can't see behind him at all, so absolutely not his fault. DD was truly fast enough to run the high line like he had the entire time and did after plowing tanner. I don't see why he'd shoot a mach Jesus slider at someone already committing low.

@@dustinglenn829 Like Tanner, DD doesn't know who's behind him either. That's the rule to keep them Sprinting. Tanner was running a lane off the bottom into three. He's a good kid who will learn how to race dudes that do it for a living.

He drives dirty to everyone but aye I don’t complain bc you gotta be super aggressive to compete at the top level , can’t just roll the bottom and not do any thing

@@cheddydoit0404 there's a difference between driving hard and driving dirty. I can show several local guys here in pa that like to drive dirty. Danny drives hard, and it's what makes having him at a track, an exciting night. For many years I have gotten to watch him start in the back third of the field and pick up many many wins. You can't win if you don't make some risky moves.
