These karts Are Astronomical Amounts of fun on 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile tracks but then safety comes into question 🤷 this is called bumper cars

Are you also wondering the same thing about Larson or Bell beating up on kids at the Tulsa Shootout? I guess their NASCAR programs aren't paying their bills? Drivers run this stuff in the off season because it helps them keep sharp, and it gives the youngsters someone to see how they measure up to, and any opportunity to race pretty much anything is an opportunity to learn. On top of that, racing is fun, and it's more fun when you can run other people's stuff. If someone called you up and said "hey you wanna come race my top-end kart in a race that pays $10k to win" you would check to see if your opponents will be younger than you before accepting? No, you would take the opportunity and run with it. Dirt track fans are hilarious, grouchy old men lining up to give young people crap about racing people younger than them is quality irony.
