Very, very impressive. Granted, the pack of cars was her nemesis here, but as others have noted, it's better to be passing the back markers than being a back marker. Great job Carley....My favorite moment frankly, was when you ripped off the wheel and bailed out, obviously upset. Racing is about passion expressed as emotion and maturity earned through experience. You've got the emotion....the the experience is coming fast. Cheering for you. Look forward to seeing you on an Indiana track soon.

That was some of the trickiest lap traffic I've seen in a while, even guys with a ton of experience were struggling with it so I'd say she did great. Forte is always good there and has years of experience (been watching him since I was a kid), so keeping up with him through the traffic is quite the accomplishment someone in their first season in a big car. Also for whatever it is worth, I prefer watching the whole race onboard (as long as the lens is clear of course)... It helps us feel like we are along for the ride and seeing how the race is developing more accurately.

Carly did an awesome job despite the ending. Good learning experience too on how to deal with the traffic. Also good advice on sometimes protecting the race line and following traffic. Especially if the top is covered by traffic and one of the lines isn't as favorable. Basically force them to pass you in the junk if necessary. Both of you keep up the awesome work and keep digging.

I picked the best night to go, real fun night of racing... Wish the track was better but from a fan perspective all that lapped traffic made things interesting.Forte just picked a spot and shot it through. Easy to do when going for the lead, not so much when you're trying to lap cars.. like you said, almost better to be 2nd or 3rd! Great vid!

Keep your head up kiddo, you have nothing to be ashamed of. I know that you were disappointed with your finish but you drove a good race. Regardless of where you finish, if both of you guys keep putting in the effort and keep learning, the good finishes will come. Everybody gets knocked down, it's how you rebound that makes all the difference. Seeing the pure frustration and pounding on the steering wheel once you came to a stop, that shows where your heart is at. That was a tough gamble any which way....Carly we're proud of you..... sometimes even when you're on top things can fall apart..... That's what the races are all about.... there will be times when you may be in 4th and the top 3 get into it and you wind up ahead..... These things happen. Carly you did a fantastic job, that track was tricky, if you missed the bottom by an inch it was exciting and slippery. Showing her the tapes will be great for her to learn it’s just laps that she needs end it will all come together. Great job Carly so proud of you. Ok. One thing I like about how you both race is that you are clean. These guys just seem to run all over the place and take out cars. I get it’s just racing is about beating people driving, not tearing up their equipment. Amazing job getting that car in the A Main and working through traffic. Not the ending you wanted ? I beg to differ. Sure Carly didn't finish. That's okay this time. A statement was made. Carly said loud and clear. I am not a push over. You want the position come and get it, I aint just gonna roll over(no pun intended) and give it to you. Race me the way you want to be raced. Clean and green or ruffle some feathers. Their choice. No stomp and steer style there. I see some good skill. See it in the karts. It will take some time to fully transition to the more powerful beast. Seat time ,seat time , seat time. Don't beat yourselves up too much. It's a learning process. Patience Grasshopper,patience.Patient aggressiveness. If that make sense? Looks like a VERY nice facility. Wish they'd run more sprint car events there.
