Good job Tanner. Remember, there are 12 guys that follow the Outlaw tour all year. You finished 11th so you are right there with them. 20 some guys finished behind you between the A main and B main. You are doing fine. More seat time with the 410 will do nothing but help you. And remember the Outlaw guys run 110% all the time, they don't take a lap off. Between that and 90 some races a year, finishing 11th is not to bad. Keep up the good efforts.

How do you find that info(who runs all year)? I'd love to see a list as the WoO schedule is insane
@stevedavis36632 жыл бұрын
@@kimifan06 I watched a video on you tube the other day that was talking about the payoffs for the top 12 teams that support the series full time. (Just spent 20 minutes looking for it and can't find it on you tube again.) It basically said the top 12 teams that run the tour full time, get $500 per race performance money, $500 tow money, $1000 to start the main event or more depending on their finish and then the end of the year championship money. I believe they said 12 place pays $30,000. If you Google World of Outlaws point standings that will pretty much match the 12 guys who run year long. Hope that helps a bit.

I am the worst race spectator ever.... after you race and the adrenaline gets in your system? no going backwards... You have made this a fun type of racing to watch.. some of the insights you have and opinions really make a great video.. I saw a young guy racing with the worlds best and was still on the lead lap at the end of it all.. I am pretty sure you have a win coming at this level of racing... Stay humble (as you can) and work your ideas... A thing about racing.. lots and lots of followers and not too many "leaders" keep it fresh, keep trying things and you will get... hope to be to see it... You are a fine ambassador for the sport..

Great weekend Tanner! Based on your video, your hop could be related to too much travel in the RR. I'm not sure if you had a bar going weak or not. If it were springs, I would say more spring rate in the RR to pin the LF down or limit the RR travel through a bump stop on your shock. I'm seeing it happen in the feature as well. Haven't got to the end yet so not sure if you figured it out or not. I imagine 800HP does a lot of wear and tear on those torsion bars. Not sure how often you check the rate on them to make sure they are holding spring rate.

Good advice ! I use to check mine after race , these race tracks look smooth but they are from that .I would go through around 50 bar a season .

It's tough to run these people , if there a piece of dust in the floor pan they know it . But this the only way to get seat time with them . 11th place in an outlaws race is not bad at all. You have to remember that the outlaw regulars have the very best in equipment with engines that have something like ten races on them at the most. Keep digging an you'll place better next time.

What causes all of the smoke when you bounce your front end?

Its just excess oil breathing out the oil tank which comes out right next to the exhaust so it smokes alot. Nothing bad is happening luckily

I asked Tanner's dad about that one night at the track awhile back and it is usually from putting in a bit too much oil in the motor so in the corners it pukes out of the breather. This was really the first time I've seen Tanner's car do that. When I asked John it was because I saw a few other cars doing it on that particular night.
