Great video and very helpful. I need to replace the oil seal on my LS XR3135H which looks identical to yours. It has an oil leak on the right axle. Oil leaks inside the right wheel. Looking at the diagram, I think the only thing it can be is the oil seal. What size socket does that nut take? Also, did you need to drain the front differential?

@@stephenkozlowski8666 I’m glad it helps. It is a 2” socket. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you

What did you figure out with the seal? Having the same issue with my New Holland Boomer 35 (LS) that looks identical. Did you remove the collar that was on the shaft and just use the new seal directly? Kind of disappointing that this is not depicted better in the parts diagram or service manual. With the seal only, the rotation seems tight and yours seems to rotate well in the video. Your video has the most information I could find. Thank you.

Yes I had to remove the sleeve and then the seal fit very well. When you say yours is tight what are you referring to?

Once I assembled the hub without that sleeve, I spun it and it seems a bit tight. I guess thinking of it being a new seal and the low speed, this may not be a concern. New seal has no collar so I was concerned.

@@chpke97 I wouldn’t worry about it being stiff. The sleeve is part of the old seal.
