You feature very interesting hifi systems....but select undercomplex music - focus on single vocals - we never get to hear instrumentation. Not sure that this type of music in a home setting requires the systems you generally showcase. Suggestions? Zappa - Blessed Relief; Pat Metheny - Tell it all; Chet Baker - I talk to the trees; perhaps a bit out there but a mix of instruments

Just 10 second of that forward voice from that trumpet tweeter are enough to make me run for the hills. Even with 300b amp these things cannot be mellowed out. And no, it's not me, it's the Tannoys, I even owned 2 pairs I got rid of them in desperation. If you want refined sound, musical speakers you can live with, and similar look of solid wood cabinet try FyneAudio. They proven that concentric driver can be made to sound good! Honestly I don't know how Tannoys are still in business making the same crappy drivers for 50y.

Stop moving your camera or phone about and around the speakers. We who are listening over headphones get confused about the true tonal balance of the speaker. The camera should remain fixed at front seat center, no less.
