@@saathvi4657 You can start singing whenever it doesn't really matter. As for knowing the sruti of the song it will come as you learn. Keep changing the sruti while listening to both song and sruti and use the sruti that actually feels right and doesn't sound abnormal to you. Thats normally what the sruti is.
