I've had my TanQ 1 for a year lol just got the Tanq 2 with deadcat so I can lose the gopro and bring the quad under 700Grams, It held up to rampage!

Thanks bro, I agree his radio looks way cooler. Since I am a thumber the gimbal position it a little off holding it for me is all. It was a fun quad to rip for surer, just wish it wasn't so cold out haha.

It’s actually just electrical tape. I got a multicolor pack on Amazon just for that purpose for all my quads.

@@hypnosfpv I got the JB V2..with hypetrain 1850kv, with hobbywing f7 60amp,.....vannystyle v2 hypetrain 1860kv, mamba f7,......flylite 3.5 tmotor 3550kv, mamba mini 50amp stack....... I'm so nervous lmao....when I visit nappy we should definitely rip together

Are the props in view through the 03 unit?

@@rongrandt7960 they are visible, but it’s not too bad. There is a deadcat version of the frame that keeps props out of view though.

How is it holding up

Camera cage is a bit beat up, but the frame itself is still holding up nicely. I did have a pretty bad crash at one point that ejected my O3 from the TPU holder for it, so I'd recommend still zip tying the VTX in.

2306 on 840g quad? 5" on 840g quad? From the video it seems really underpowered and from the specs too. Why not bigger motor?

Hey, thanks for the comment. I honestly don’t have a good answer for your question unfortunately. I went with the motors and frame that Shawn, aka Let’s Fly RC uses since the Tanq is his signature drone. I do agree and admit it felt a bit more sluggish than I’d prefer. I haven’t had an opportunity to test how it flies without the GoPro due to weather conditions to see the difference with that weight removed.

Why are you using a gopro with the dji cam? I feel like the tanq really loses a lot of performance with that extra weight

Agreed, it does struggle with the extra weight. I wish the o3 recorded audio, that’s why I typically use a GoPro 11 mini with my quads.

Hi, a couple improvements include a .5mm thicker top plate and a slight redesign to allow battery strap to grip if opted not to mount battery toilet tank, increased stack height to allow more room for the stack, and a more durable camera cage.
